I should still be able to post the daily news, at times may be a tad bit slower, however dances will be hard for me since I’m going to be traveling a lot.

Dang it - I missed this paragraph "* Disney vacations are eligible to be booked 500 days from check in, meaning starting June 8th you can book 2023 vacations through 10/21/23 and then that date is extended every day by one day. " So, I couldn't book yet. Waiting for December.

This is Disney's official pop-up message when trying to modify a current reservation (and perhaps for other actions, too):

An Important Update About Disney Genie+ Service

Effective June 8, 2022, Disney Genie+ service is only available for purchase on the day of your visit to a Walt Disney World theme park, subject to availability.

Here's what to know when modifying or cancelling a reservation that currently includes Disney Genie+ service:

Modifying a Reservation
When modifying a reservation that already includes Disney Genie+ service:

• If you choose 2022 travel dates, then your modified reservation will still include Disney Genie+ service.
• If you choose 2023 travel dates, then your reservation will no longer include Disney Genie+ service. However, you may purchase Disney Genie+ service on the day of your visit via the My Disney Experience app, one day at a time (subject to availability).

Cancelling a Reservation
If you cancel your reservation and decide to make a new reservation, then you may purchase Disney Genie+ service on the day of your visit via the My Disney Experience app, one day at a time (subject to availability).

So this is why I'm not seeing availability for November... thought it sold out already!

That is what happened to me. I got nothing, but since I logged in first thing, and tried more than one resort - it made no sense it would be sold out. So, I went back to the announcement and saw they were only releasing through October 21, 2023. I'm booking for week before Christmas (have Universal booked already for the week of Christmas).

I know in the scheme of things it just means I keep my money longer, as we aren't going any sooner. But, it just feels nice (to me) to have it booked and know the cost instead of having an estimate in my spreadsheet. So, I woke excited, and now. . .a little deflated.

Hey guys! Since I’m wide awake at 4:30 am, I thought it was the perfect time to give you a heads up that summer is here for me, and if you remember last year, it is a very busy time for me. It's slow and glitchy for me, too. I'm having better success in private browser mode.

I got past it eventually but it was much more difficult than it should have been. I know I've run into that kid age thing before but at some point they should fix it.

There are LOTS of things that need to be fixed with their site and app, but most of them never seem to get done...

Some of them seem like such low hanging fruit. Even if they are low priority.

Oh well. I was able to book Pop Century for half the price of the placeholder reservation that I had made for Caribbean Beach during Marathon Weekend next year!
