I thought the older design with the elevated festival building was neat, oh well.

Honestly, I kind of like this better. It harkens more to the original Epcot. The old Festival building idea was neat, but also might have been a little obtrusive.

I was just going to post the same thing. I'm sure Disney will take a lot of heat for cheaping out, etc, but I like this version better. I was afraid the original festival building would obstruct the gorgeous views. We already have enough of that with the hideous barges sitting in the lagoon. I'm ok with this change. The nighttime lighting package looks cool, as well. The Epcot team has done a wonderful job with the that so far, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they do here.

In the meantime, Guests will be able to use the waterslide at High Rock Spring Pool at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. A shuttle will be available to transport Guests to and from the pool from 10 a.m.-11 p.m. daily throughout the duration of the refurbishment.

So far I'm a tad bit bummed that there didn't seem to be any May 4th video game info drops ... I was hoping for something on the Fallen Order sequel or maybe something on the 'Knights of the Old Republic' remake.

Guess we're waiting til Star Wars Celebration for any news along with 'Tales of the Jedi' series info
Rumor from March has it being announced at Celebration, could see other projects being shown next month at whatever games showcases might pop up in the wake of E3.

Totally agree. I liked the symmetry of the old Epcot, and this gets back closer to that. While I thought the design of the festival center was really cool, it did look like it would be too tall for where it was located, taking away the view of SE from around the lagoon.

EPCOT Gardens Announced as Centralized Festival Showcase in World Celebration

*Pics same as above.

Disney has announced the EPCOT Gardens space for World Celebration. The EPCOT Gardens will be a rotating showcase display of whatever festival EPCOT is currently presenting and will change throughout the year. There will be immersive lighting effects as well that will play along with Spaceship Earth. Here’s a look at concept art for the area.

This is my least favrotie line in the entire Sequel Trilogy. I generally like the sequels, but Rey's overly excited and proud annunciation of this line, is so cringe-worthy. It's like Luke's, "But I was going to Toschi Station to pick up some power converters!" I mean, it fits, and shows where both characters at that early point in their journey's, but the look on Han's face is about the perfect reaction.
