Disney Begins Removing Plexiglass from Point of Sale, Close Interaction Areas Around Walt Disney World

Disney has begun to slowly remove plexiglass from around the Walt Disney World Resort at point of sale locations in shops and at close interaction areas such as Guest Relations. The move is the latest in a return to normalcy for the resort, which has had some sort of COVID-19 related safety measures in place since July 2020.

New Walt Disney Travel Co. Bookings for Private Ground Transportation on Pause

New bookings are currently unavailable for private ground transportation to and from Walt Disney World Resort and other surrounding areas. This Walt Disney Travel Company package add-on will be unavailable until further notice.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, some existing private ground transportation reservations may be impacted. Affected Guests will receive a phone call if their reservation has been impacted.

First thing I thought (and hoped!) as well. Cutting ME is the first change that truly made me rethink trips.

I received my post-visit e-mail survey today from Disney. It was ALL about transportation. It basically asked how we traveled to and from every single place we visited including the airport. Boats, buses, monorails, private cars, taxis, etc. They wanted to know.

Tron is still an active construction site and the tunnel part for the train that goes beneath the attraction isn’t fully finished.

Also I believe construction was halted for a period due to Covid restrictions
