Disney Movie Club

I was wondering if anyone here has tried the Disney Movie Club and could share their experiences. If there is an appropriate forum for this topic, please let me know because I couldn't find one.

I joined the Disney Movie Club for the purpose of buying DMC exclusive titles for the rewards certificates, and I sold the movies without watching any of them. I was really impressed with the fact that I was able to sell them for more than I had paid for them, in many cases, so the entire experience worked out for me. I canceled my membership after purchasing all the DMC exclusive titles that had reward codes. Other than for that purpose, I'm not sure why anyone would join this club, since you can always get the titles cheaper elsewhere, especially after they gauge you for shipping costs.

I joined in order to watch the movies I would buy. When I looked at the prices of the 5 you need to buy later along with the initial 4 or 5 you buy for cheap, it all works out nicely.

We recently finished our 5th purchase, and now we are in the VIP club, which has already had some sweet deals. Buy one, get another 50% off...nice to me! And free pins, reduced price pins, with purchases, and some other things.

I've enjoyed the club. The ONE thing I would have done differently is to buy those 5 much much faster. If you spread it out, the math gets harder to remember.
