Disney Movie Club - can you quit when your commitment is fulfilled?

I looked at some of the other Disney Movie Club threads, and couldn't find the answer I was looking for.
Got the offer in the mail for first 5 for $1, plus #1 & #2 of commitment for $11.95 & 8.95. So then we'll buy two more in the next few months for $19.99 +$3.99 shipping each. So far so good for $70 I get 9 movies, we'd probably buy 3 in the next year for about $66 anyways at Costco.
The opting out of each month is the part I'm not sure about. I don't mind opting out of the special feature for 6 months to a year, but after a year we'll be moving, etc ,etc, don't want to deal with that. If my commitment is fulfilled with the four movies can I quit the club after 6 months to a year? Has anybody done this? In general is it a good deal to join?
Any comments from people who have successfully permanently 'opted out' of the monthly stuff would be great.

Yes, we quit after fulfilling our obligation.

First you can opt out each month that you do not want the feature online. They even send me reminder emails. I never take the feature movie, I buy "new" movies with the $10 coupons on blu ray.

I have been a "member" for 6 or 7 years and long ago fulfilled my obligation. I haven't quit because a couple times a year they make me an offer I can not refuse, and I buy a ton of holiday gifts. Currently, I have a buy one at regular price get the other movies at 60% off deal. I will wait until I have something similar and buy 10+ movies for gifts (once you pay for shipping on the first one the rest are $1.00 (or sometimes free)). This allows me to easily purchase the good animated DVD's for under $10 consistently--even with factoring in the full price movie, or buy blu rays for less than $15.

Also, there was a time when many of the movies in the vault were still available in the movie club. I think they have finally resolved that, but I haven't looked for any in a long time. They do also send "extras" stickers, random pins with purchase, stuff I don't care about; but some things other people probably really like.

The biggest downside, is their shipping is ridiculously slow. I am pretty certain they ship from WI, and I am in IL--so neighboring states. It can take 10 days for my order to be received.

I am not trying to convince you to join, but once you do join and meet your obligation you may want to keep the "membership" for future purchases.
