Have only just found out I am pregnant and am heading off to Disney this Sunday! Not exactly perfect timing but still feeling ok and hopefully the tiredness and morning sickness will stay away for another while.

So having never been to DLRP what am I now going to now miss and is there any top tips from any others who were there whilst pg?

I dont know anything about what to do/not to do whilst pregnant but just wanted to say congratualtions. :cheer2:

Congratulations!
Personally I would avoid all the roller coasters, probably Star Tours as it is so jerky and also Armageddon as it is so loud (actually I avoid this anyway and I'm not pregnant!).

Congrats!!!

I think the best advice I've seen to avoid all the attractions with lap bars.... :goodvibes

Firstly :cool1: :cool1: Congratulations :cool1: :cool1:

I went to DLRP in May 2005, I was just over fours months pregnant. We had our eldest with us who was a toddler, one of us was staying off the big rides anyway to be with her, it just happened to always be me that particular trip:lmao:
I just went on all the stuff a two year old could go on. You'll still have a fantastic time ::yes::

If you are really worried I think you can ask at city hall but like bob said any thing with a tight lap bar/belt

and i would agree avoid armagedon its a waist of disney space lol

and CONGRATULATIONS

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thank you all for your good wishes. :thumbsup2

I am such a 'scaredie cat' I am nearly delighted to be able to opt out of the big rides and will stick to the smaller things with DS who is almost 3!

congratulations!!!! i am also expecting my first baby (14 weeks now!!!) and we are off in a week and a day, i will be planning on going on all the rides made for the under 3's and avoiding anyhting that has a restricted belt on, failing that i will just ask the CM's as they were really helpful when my Sis in Law was pg! congrats again :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Well ladies on top of dealing with a trip to Disney whilst pg I was in a car accident yesterday!!

Not my fault and thankfully my car not as bad as the other driver but I am in agony with my bad and neck!!

Dreading the flight and travelling - was so excited and now fed up!! :sad1:

Oh goodness! :scared: I hope everything is ok? (Apart from your back and neck)

Looking at my map from last year (I'm a terrible hoarder, hoping to make it all into a scrapbook one day :lmao: ) the rides marked with a red triangle are not suitable if you're pregnant (congratulations by the way :cheer2:), or if you have back, neck, heart, travel or blood pressure problems...
In Studios there are Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror and Crush's Coaster that aren't suitable, and Indiana Jones, Big Thunder Mountain, Star Tours, Space Mountain 2 and Autopia in Disneyland park.
Rule of thumb- when in doubt, go to Fantasyland!
Apparently, if you're pg in Disney, you can't have 'Big Thrills' or drive! :rotfl:

Hope this helps. Have a great time. :woohoo:
