Disney military freaks...non disney ?

Has anyone PCSed or moved to Germany? I'm up in there as to weather I should take my car or buy an old BMW over there that I only need liability insurance. If I take my car, which still has a lien, insurance is going to be soooo much. I have to use a German insurer b/c I will be there as a civilian instead as military. Hubbs is staying in the states. I got a job over there for a year!

To relate this to Disney.....Disneyland Paris, here I come.

i was stationed in Germany for 2 years with the Air Force. I new some civilian contractors over there and they left there cars at home and got an old used car. The cost of shipping it over there is not worth the extra insurance cost. Look around the military instillations for anybody selling there cars, there are usually quite a few and there are insurance agents there to.
