Disney might not be for everyone right now, but we loved it

Taking our almost 3 and 1 year old granddaughters, Disney was magical for us. We wondered if we should go, our main concern was if the 3 year old would wear her mask. she did great, it was not even a problem.
the characters greeted us every day and waved goodbye at the end of the day. (highlight of their day!!}
the little pop up parades were often enough that we got to see them all more than once
lines were short for the most part
I didn't see anyone trying to cheat the system by not wearing their masks while walking. or any other time
it just depends on what you are looking for and expecting.
we didn't care about fireworks because the little ones probably wouldn't have lasted that long........so obviously the shortened hours didn't matter either
I did miss our character meal but seeing them from a distance wasn't as scary.
We went home with wonderful memories............and that's good enough for me.

I’m so happy to hear that!!! Glad you enjoyed your trip!! 🙂 I honestly can’t wait to get back ‘Home.’ :cloud9:

Nice report :) thanks! Glad you could share that time with your grand kids despite current circumstances. We're going in two weeks. Really looking forward to getting back there after this crazy year.

To me it feels like the old Value Season. I am glad you had a great time.

Where did you eat at with the little ones ?
Glad you had a nice visit
sparkle78,
we ate dinner at Tonys and liberty tree tavern. I know tony's isn't anyones favorite but we asked to eat outside and we were able to watch a couple pop up parades. Liberty tree was delicious.
we had lunch at pinocchios village haus. This online ordering is all new to me. but it seems to be working out well. Also ordered our dole whips on the app and picked it up.
we had breakfast at whispering canyon one morning. that was very good. not as fun anymore but food is still good.
and lunch at t-rex. I think they were too young to enjoy that.

Glad you had a nice time👍🏻😎 When was your trip and how long were you there? Which parks did you go to? And curious where did you stay?

Thanks for your time and review.

bbn1122 We were there last week. From the 19th to the 26th. we stayed at a house in Windsor Hills. It's a perfect location if you are not staying on property. we did the magic kingdom monday, wednesday and friday. sunday was disney springs for lunch and souvenir shopping. tuesday and thursday were "down days" we took advantage of windsor hills clubhouse pool and splash pad. Probably too slow paced for most people but we had ZERO meltdowns from the little ones. and honestly with such short wait times, we did everything we hoped to........and more!!!

We've been fortunate enough to take our kids to Disney every few years including when they were young. I think at that age, they don't know what they are missing or don't realize what's different. I'm glad you took them and had a good time. Everything they experienced was magical to them and because of that, you had a great time and that's what matters most. We postponed an earlier trip to December and I can't wait to go. Our kids are older now but they love going as much as they did when they were young.

Glad you have a fun trip.
Looking forward to when we finally get back.

Thanks for restaurant info. My youngest loves Tony’s, I usually like their seafood pasta. Eating outside would be nice in November
Thanks again

I am so encouraged to hear this! We will be with our 1 year old and 4 year old granddaughters in December!
