Disney MGM Studios and closest

I've heard lots of bad things about places to eat here and was wondering what the closest place out of the park to go and eat. It will be a nice break from the park and hopefully a good place to eat!! Looking for both CS and TS.

Walk or take the boat to the Boardwalk. Lots of nice places to eat there and it is very relaxing to be there and get away from the hubbub of the theme parks.

Hint: The walk from MGM to BW is pretty easy (only about 15 minutes), but if you decide to take the boat, get off at the first stop at S/D and walk the rest of the way to the Boardwalk. It will save lots of time!

Also consider the restaurants at YC and BC. We love Beaches & Cream for burgers and ice cream, like the Cape May buffet and love the Yachtsman Steakhouse for a more upscale meal. Hope that helps. (p.s. Love Spoodles at the Boardwalk, too)

For a TS - try Spoodles at the Boardwalk. It is great.

Where does the boat arrive at MGM? I don't remember seeing it.

To the left as you exit the park. There's actually a walkway all the way from MGM to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot. The boat dock is right near the beginning; you can also walk from either park to the Dolphin, Swan, Boardwalk, Yacht Club and Beach Club.

I've heard wonderful things about Fresh in the Dolphin for lunch.

They have both a buffet and a ala carte menu.

Here's a map of MGM. If you look beneath main entrance, you will see the boat dock and the pathway.

There are lots of great choices of restaurants! We really enjoy Spoodles, Flying Fish, Beaches and Cream and Yachtsman Steakhouse. Of these, the only one open for lunch is B&C.

for yummy eats at a good price in a casual atmosphere go to Beaches N Cream!!! it's got AWESOME burgers!!!

for a bit more upscale but AWESOME def. do the Yachtsman!!!
