Just 2 weeks to go before our next visit and we are all too excited! Those of us who KNOW about the trip, that is.. It is our first "surprise" trip for our 2 DGSs and getting harder by the moment not to spill the beans.
Our first night tradition seems to have become a visit to the Marketplace, and if we don't actually make it on night 1, we still always squeeze in an evening there. I recently watched a YouTube video of the ongoing Disney Springs transformation and it looked like our much-loved marketplace may be now mainly a series of paths between construction walls. Is this the current state of affairs?
Like many, we mourned the loss of PI, and like some, we have never been enthusiastic about the West Side. But we love the cozying atmosphere and shops of the Marketplace. I would really love to hear if recent visitors enjoyed time there or would recommend staying clear until the construction dust finally settles. TIA!
Cannot to wait to see the MK hub transformation! Main St and the hub have always been the heart & soul of WDW to me, and it will good to see more magic and fewer walls this time.
