If we have multiple people on reservations, arriving on different flights, can we all still use the DME?

Yes - as long as the transportation is during your stay - not before or after checkin/checkout day. Everyone using DME must be on the resort reservation and everyone must have an advance DME reservation.

For best service in a case like this I recommend calling DME directly rather than making the DME reservations via the WDW phone line.

Each person will get one DME luggage tag and all the informaiton will be sent to the "lead" person on the reservation who can then distribute them. If you need extra DME luggage tags you can request them.

This has not been my experience, unless everyone is in the same room. Pretty sure they only ship to one adddress per room, but they will ship to the address listed on each room if you have more than one room.

DO make sure everything is correct when you get your paperwork. If not, you can call.

I also know that ME needs, I think 24 hours notice (might be 48). Once we had to wait until we were at WDW to book the return ME. I think my sister was leaving before the end of our stay, and it was suggested to me that that was the best way to do it. I don't recall exactly, but we booked he arrival before we went, and her return trip once we were there.

What?
I said that the "lead" peson will get all the DME info including one luggage tag per person, not sure what your "experience is"? If you need more than one luggage tag per person they will send additonal tags.

There is no 24 hour rule to book DME but they do deliver your departure info at least 24 hour prior to departure. If you need to make changes its best to book/change prior to then but you can make changes later than 24 hours if neessary.

The situation is that everyone might not be flying down on the same flights. but we are all on the same reservation(s). We'd be flying airtran and southwest, so both are DME participants. Just wasn't sure how that would work.

I understood that- you should still make the reservation with DME for each person separately but the package will be sent to the first person named on the reservation. That person then can hand out the vouchers and DME tags. Airline doesn't matter as every airline participates in DME.

On the inbound the flight/time/airline doesn't really matter as you are not scheduled to a particular bus. Whenever you get to the airport you can just go to the DME welcome center and be directed to a bus.

For the outbound you are assigned a specific bus and you will get your vouchers delivered to the room a day prior to check out. On the outbound both Airtran and Southwest participate in the Resort Airline Checkin but it will depending on flight time as to who can use that.

WE often have family arriving and departing on different flights and days and it is not a problem.

What I meant- whish doesn't seem to apply - was when we have multiple rooms. Two types of 'leads', so to speak. I'm the overall lead, but the tags don't all come to my house. One set of tags comes to my house, the other to my parents, etc. bu tif you are all in one room, and you are the elad guest, then the tags for that room will come to you, so long as you booked yourself.

On my last trip, I used AAA. All the vacation packets (inlcluding ME tags) went to the AAA office; that's my only experience using a travel agent. I would presume though that other travel agents might be similar.

Having guests in one room flying on different flights is no issue. We've done it many times.

As a matter of course, the CM's will ask what flight each individual guest is taking. So long as everyone is listed on the reservation.
