I call to reserve DME however it was months ago and now I'm wondering if I should call just to confirm? Nothing ever makes me nervous but maybe because we are flying in after 8pm with 2 young kids I don't want any snags. My flight is April 9th, so I could just wait for yellow tags.

Or is there away to see other than calling?

You shouldn't need to call and confirm. If you have your resort reservation, you're eligible for DME. So even if there was an error, they can look you up at the check in and send you through.

They're not supposed to take anyone who just shows up at the counter without a reservation though (and I mean a DME reservation, not a resort reservation); it's actually part of their contract with MCO. If it makes you feel better, why not call? Call DME though, not Disney. The number is 866-599-0951.

DME is NOT supposed to allow anyone onto the bus if they don't have an existing DME reservation. If they look you up, in their system, and see that you do have a reservation, they will log you in and direct you to your bus. But, if they look and see that, while you do have a resort reservation, but you haven't reserved DME, they aren't supposed to allow you to ride. This has been a part of their contract with MCO.
If you are traveling in early April, you can start looking for your DME packet, with tags, any time now. We seem to be getting the packets about 3-6 weeks prior to travel. If you get to mid-March and haven't received anything from them, you could call them and make sure you are in the system. That will give them plenty of time to get your tags out to you.

I finally got my DME package in the mail today. I fly into MCO exactly one week from today. I booked it back in November and to this point have always received the package within a few weeks of booking it.

Thank you for the relies. Our vacation this year is a mixed bag. Book one resort through disney, cruise with DVC points, and finally a resort after the cruise using a discount site though work. Too many people to deal with. Usually just DVC, it's much easier.

There's no harm in calling to check, but FWIW this trip last week was the first time I ever received any sort of confirmation. Usually the tags just show up about a month ahead of our trip. The only difference was this trip was booked only a week out so there wasn't enough time for any tags, or even MB, to be sent.
