RISE AND SHINE PARROTHEADS!!!

Connor and I walked down to the beach this morning. The wind is aweful and blowing the sand all over!!! We had it in our mouths by the time we left...and we only stayed about 15 mins! Thankfully, I took a big towel with me to either wrap in or sit on. I ended up wrapping up in it! OMG. I thought we had left the wind chill factor in WV! LOL

Just checking in!!!! We went out to see more of the sites today. Saw some BEAUTIFUL Yachts! I can only dream!!! then we came back and I fixed a ham dinner.

Just got home with from a family dinner and a day with all of our family at our my parents house......

The sun has been hidden by clouds today, but it's suppose to be warmer then yesterday. Still so much we want to do, and we're running out of time!

Steve has caught the cold that Colton and Connor have, so we are quickly working our way through 3 boxes of Puffs Tissues!! We are debating going home a day earlier, tomorrow. If we go home on Saturday, then we could have Sunday to get unpacked, get the dogs, and get ready for work and school. If we go home Sunday, then we have an extra day of warm weather and fun. We'll see...... But we sort of have to decide soon!

Did I tell you our condo is right on the golf course? We've seen many golfers up and down the green. We've even had a few duffers shag a few balls into our "yard". LOL That's funny to watch them digging around looking for them!

Well, I better get ready for the day!! Connor wants to go to the beach, I want to go to Disney's resort, Colton wants to go swimming in the heated/indoor pool!!! Hhmmm, when would I pack then???

Allen, it really was one of the nicest holidays we've had!!! I can remember so much about it! Dec 21, I was on Castaway Cay reading Skipping Christmas in a hammock. We were on the Wonder that year. It was SO beautiful with all the decorations. The week before we were at WDW and the 3 days after the cruise, we were at USO. I would do it all again!!!

My Inlaws left this morning. They are going to take 2 days to get back to WV. They just went on and on about how nice the weather has been and what a great time to take a vacation. I have a feeling, they will be taking more vacations south during the winter months! They can't afford to be snowbirds, but I bet if they could, they would!!!!

The kids and I just got out of our p.j's....We are going to go to the movies in about an hour.....

The boys and I just got back from the beach. We flew kites, combed the sand with a metal detector and Connor was just playing in the surf. Although, that water is VERY cold!!! OMG. There weren't many people when we got there, but then it was actually starting to get crowded. It sprinkled for a little bit this morning, so I think it kept people away, but then the sun came out and it was SO pretty at the beach. There were people dressed in everything from shorts and t's to jeans and hoodies. Here are a few shots......

Kristin, it's been really great!! I honestly don't want to go back....back to work, school, getting up early, not eating out as much!! LOL But I guess all good things must come to an end.

Steve has a terrible headcold. He has done nothing today but lay on the couch. I made him take me to the store to get more drugs. I just don't know my way around, yanno? And the roads in this plantation are not on the navigation in the truck, so I have no idea how to get out of here! LOL Here's hoping that he'll be better tomorrow!!!! I really want to go over to Disney's resort and we have some gift certificates to use for dinner tomorrow. I can't see us going if he doesn't get to feeling better! Plus we'll have to start loading the truck tomorrow so we can get out of here early on Sunday....hopefully, by 7am.
