Disney Magic Nov 13-18 Merrytime Cruise

If this cruise even sails.....I keep flip flopping between it will sail/it won't sail. Anyway.....for whatever reason I decided to log into our reservation thru DCL today and see that it is now a closed loop cruise leaving from Miami and returning to Miami. Prior it was set to return to Port Canaveral.

This might not be big news to most, but I just booked WDW to do the same week of our cruise (in case it does not sail, can cancel dates and adjust if needed) so we could be there for the 50th anniversary. I booked before I looked. Oh well, if the cruise does not sail, we have a backup plan. If it does sail, I guess WDW is out.

Also, no airfare can be booked until this thing is decided. I hope it is decided sooner than later.

I know....there are bigger problems in the world.

I wasn't aware there were any Merry-time cruises that repositioned from Miami to Port Canaveral?

That's the way it was advertised and set up in the beginning. Or I should say when we were schedule to sail in Nov 2020. Since 2020 was cancelled and we flipped to 2021, it might have changed. I just never looked at our itinerary on DCL since we rescheduled as it was too depressing.

Highly unlikely it was a Miami to Port Canaveral cruise. Unless it made a call in a distant foreign port (any port NOT in North America or the Caribbean) during the trip, such cruises are illegal to run with passengers.
