Disney Magic - Nov 10, 2012 - Western Caribbean from Galveston - Sun, Fun & Beaches!

We are on this cruise too. Along with Me is DH, 2 girls (15 & 10) and son (12) This is our 4th Disney cruise. We booked it only a month ago. We though Disney had gotten a little out of reach for us but this was just at the right price! We did book Guarantee Room and we haven't been assigned yet. Has anyone else been assigned their room. I called Disney and they said it could be now to 1 day before the cruise before they assign them! I can wait!

Welcome on board. When I booked, I was told that I would not get my room assignment until we arrive at the port, but I got it about 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Is the FE count still 14?

It has gone up to 15, but for one family I have no details whatsoever. There is just over 48 hours left to sign up so this can still change.

Ok...still no cruise documents. Should I be worried? It seems like people living overseas (or over the border) have gotten them. Is the USPS really that bad?

I know I shouldn't be worried, b/c I see my cruise reservation when I log into the site and I have received emails from DCL about the cruise, but still....

No need to be worried at all. The international cruisers get their documents first as they have to clear customs etc. first. You'll get yours in more than enough time. I'd get worried at one week to the cruise.

:wave2:

We havent got any of our documents yet. And one of our inside GTY rooms is still unassigned.

Getting excited - we have another weekend planning trip scheduled tomorrow to discuss excursions. Still trying to find something to do in Grand Cayman.

Has anyone found a review of the Disney adults only excursion to Chacchobean ruins in Costa Maya?

Ok, trying to post this for our Roll Call. (Now I'm asking for it! I'll have to update it everytime we get someone new! Just created more work for myself didn't I?)

If you have any updates or modifications, just let me know and I'll make the appropriate changes.

Hi! We are planning to participate in the FE... I hope we filled out the form correctly. Also, Mike's parent's names are Sue and Gary, both in theit 60's. Thanks!

They tend to run with them for a while so the Navigator that was posted for the first Galveston cruise should be a good indication on what we can expect.

Finally got our documents late yesterday, but had to hide them from the kiddos and couldn't look at them til early this morning. :)

I was told on another thread that there can be significant changes between navigators for different cruises. That it was good for a general guideline, but not necessarily worth highlighting things to try and figure out a schedule for doing them.

I'm really going to sit and look very carefully at the Navigators we get this time. I feel like I miss a lot each cruise, and some of it is that there is just SO MUCH going on at once that it's hard to choose what to do. Plus, when you get it one day at a time, you don't know if a particular will be offered again. I have missed the Art of the Theme Ship tour several times now -- on our Canadian cruise, it conflicted with a Margarita tasting the first time, and something else the second time. I do know that the crew at Guest Relations have an idea of the upcoming schedule -- if you ask them specifically about when something will be offered, they can look it up and tell you.

We got our cruise doc's yesterday!!!!
It seems like a week or so earlier than our past cruises, so it was a nice suprise!!
We can't wait to head to Texas!!!
