Unless anyone feels differently, I think I will close our group at 12 cabins and can start a second one if there is any interest. Just trying to give everyone time to plan. Hey all!

We will be joining you all for the cruise! This will be our 7th Disney cruise, and our third time out of Miami to Grand Cayman.

On previous cruises, we've arranged private mixology, and wine tasting classes. They were always informative, lots of laughs, and a great way to meet other cruisers.

Our second day on the ship is a 'day at sea', and that might be a great day to get together and taste/drink! My wife and I haven't done the 'Tequila/margarita" tasting yet, so we were thinking about doing that. (I don't think I've ever had tequila, and I only get margaritas about once a year, so I thought this would be a good time to do both!)

Anyone else interested?

We will be onboard as well! This is our second DCL cruise. Our first was on Dream and we are excited to see the Magic. We have two daughters, ages 10 and 8 who don't know about the cruise yet. It's a Christmas surprise and I am so excited to see their faces when they find out! I would love to participate in the Fish Extender program if anyone else is doing one.

We are booked on this cruise too and can't wait! It is our second Disney Cruise. Last January on the Dream, the water was cold on CC, but the weather was perfect! Crossing my fingers for the same luck!

Is anyone interested in getting a Fish Extender Group started? It was one of the highlights of our last cruise. Our son couldn't wait to see what was left for us.

Anyone have advice for a first time cruiser?! What is a must bring? Anyone been on a cruise in January before? hopefully it won't be too cold to enjoy the pools and water at our ports =) I am super excited!!

Since no one else has spoken up, I don't mind organizing a Fish Extender Group for all that are interested. Like I mentioned before, it was truly one of our favorite things about the cruise.

The last one I participated in, there was no more than 15 cabins in each group. And if we have more than 15 cabins interested, we can start a second group. So if you are interested in joining, please send me your Cabin #, first names of each traveler in your room, their favorite Disney character, any known allergies, any celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, etc) and any other special notes. I will put together a spreadsheet and pass along to everyone in the group.

If you have any questions, feel free to send those my way too.

There is a Facebook group for meeting people who are going on this cruise too--there are 80 people so far on it. They have FE groups and lots of discussions about excursions, tasting classes, etc.

The group, "Disney Magic January 15, 2016" is closed so it doesn't come up when you search for it, so you have to first join the group "Disney Cruise Meet Facebook Groups". Once you are accepted, search for our cruise on the Magic itinerary under the "File" heading, and you'll see the link for our cruise.

We just changed to this cruise date. This is our 6th DCL cruise...Gold! Dream 3x, Wonder 1x and Fantasy1x....so first on the Magic! 3 staterooms, me and DH, our 5 kids (9-14) and inlaws. Anyone paid up and snag a private cabana? Thinking about doing that...if any left.

We just book this one. We were on the Fantasy for the 6th of Feb. But decided to change to this one. This will be our 9th DCL cruise but first time on magic. I am looking forward to doing the wave runner stingray city / rum point excursion.

Do not over pack. Weather will be great. Dress for dinner and then change and hang them back up. Mix and match pants and shirts. At dinner if you want to try different things order them. If you want 4 apps and two entrees and three desserts order them. If you want something special tell them the first night and tell them what night you want it. I had butter chicken made and the crew loved it. Room service is included but take single $s to tip.
Its easier to go down in the elevators to go up and the same the other way. Make use of the stairs. Go to shows early and don't save seats. Same on deck no saving seats. Don't try to do everything. You wont enjoy it as much. Take advantage of the movies some are first run. Get a spot for the pirate party early. Don't wait until last minute. Water on ship is better than water in bottles.

For children, please include their ages and gender so appropriate gifts can be choosen. Then list if you have any allergies or any other pertient information (birthdays, anniversaries, ect).
