Ok so this is the idea...

I can fill in info such as DH name, kids names, ages, homestate, # dcl cruises,
I didn't want to post much information because I was not certain about the public board idea or what was OK for me to post. (Although some of the information can be compiled from your intro posts) It would be easier I think if to PM me with your info. Or maybe if we don't want to post it pubically I can put it into a google doc and PM everyone with the link.
So just let me know what you think and I will work on this gradually.
We have (8) cabins in the FE list and (12) cabins in the roll call that are not doing FE's.
Some of the info may overlap the FE list that Rose is doing. Maybe she is also planning to do the roll call for the people that are not signed up for FE's? I don't want to duplicate it.

On the idea of a rolecall, I think that sounds good. Might make less stress for everyone to update their own info, versus having a single person responsible for updating and distributing the information.

Carmen, good idea! We can do it like the slogan vote: copy the list then add your own info? Why didn't I think of that?!!

After we've got everyone, I can have a moderator try to add a link to the 1st post of our thread. So the total list will be easier for everyone to find (if that works)

Updating and Posting Roll Call
After much thought and help (I am fairly new at all of this)!

The plan is: for each participant to copy the most recent Roll call list and then add your info at the bottom of the list. Similar to the method we are using for the slogan vote.
Then you guys can go to my first KikiMouse post (#31) and you won't have to search the thread for the updated list. Also new people who join the group will hopefully figure out what's going on.

I PM'd MJ, a moderator and we thought this would be the easiest. I can't change the first post without her help. So...

Under the very first post of the thread,(Tower) the moderator has added the notation-

Ayme, I am wondering the same thing about those boats! We'd love to try snorkeling, but with the wee ones it's not an option for this trip. The glass bottom boats seem like a good compromise. Curious to hear if it's worth it, though.

Another PA question for our experienced cruisers...are beach breaks worth the cost?

Carmen - I was so happy to see that you were able to get first dining. I really do think it will work better for you, since your children are so young. I was actually feeling a bit guilty that I had gotten first dining with older kids.

I don't have a lot of port adventure experience but I read a lot of reviews! Glass bottom boats do not generally get great reviews. The glass windows in the bottom of the boat are relatively small and if you think about it, there wouldn't be a lot of light to see by under your boat.

A better alternative, I believe, is the semi-subs that have lots of large windows in the side of the boat. I've seen some great pictures here on the DIS. The boat doesn't submerge like the full submarine adventures, so you can always go "up top" to get some sun/air. The lower deck is below the water line, has benches to sit on, and lots of windows.

We signed up for one of these for Grand Cayman: Nautilus Undersea Tour. They show you reefs, shipwrecks, and one of the crew jumps in and feeds the fish to ensure that you have plenty to see! There's a very similar excursion called Seaworld Explorer Semi Submarine.

I think they would be great for young children.

This is what we have decided to do in Cozumel. We were originally going to do the one Peg is doing in Grand Cayman but have decided we want to visit the turtle farm instead. I also think the semi sub will have better viewing, mainly because we won't have to fight glare from the sun to see into the water.
