Disney Magic debarkation time and transportation to the airport

Just for those planning their flight times and transportation from MIA……we got off the Magic this morning. We had the 6:45am time at Animator’s Palate. We did not leave our one large bag outside the room. The ship was “cleared” around 8am. We got in line, which was barely around the corner at Lumiere’s. Once we got in line, an announcement was made that you could only exit if you had all your bags. And as soon as that was announced, 1/2 the people in the line, got out of it, and stood on the side. We grabbed an Uber out front, for less than $22 to MIA. The taxis are a flat rate of $27, and that is what we took when we arrived at MIA. Taxi had a “funky” smell, and driver was weaving in and out of traffic. Uber X car was clean, and our driver was not in a hurry. We were thru the standard security, and at our Delta gate at 8:40am

Wow! That's super fast! I sailed the Magic over the weekend, and the customs line took 30 minutes, for some reason. Glad to hear that it's not always like that since reopening.
