Disney Magic Concierge from FLL

Hello. I will be sailing on the Magic out of Fort Lauderdale in the beginning of September. I am trying to determine when to arrive at the Port. Currently, my PAT is 10:45 for concierge. However, shoreside has said the Embarkation/boarding is scheduled to begin at 1:00pm. While it may begin sooner the terminal is not scheduled to open until 11:15 am. Does this sound accurate if the all aboard in 3pm? Any suggestions on when to arrive?

Also, has anyone experienced the concierge lunch on the Magic recently? I am told it has changed to a buffet at Rapunzel's Royal Table. Any reviews? Thank you for the tips and help.

I suggest you reprint your boarding pass to see if Concierge PAT has changed. Or just look at what the printout would be.

I have no interest in sitting around a cruise terminal longer than I have to. If I believed the 1 pm boarding (which I don’t, actually), I would plan on arriving closer to that time.

You should not expect to stand in a line if you are doing Concierge check-in - especially if you arrive after your PAT. If you come a little late, it’s probably a straight to ship escorted scenario.

The port was open before 11:15, and many people had aleady checked in.

We arrived about 11:00, I think were the last concierge guests to check as the lounge was full.

I think boarding started about 11:15.

Concierge lunch was in Lumiere's. Rapunzel's did offer sit-down in addition to the buffet in Cabanas.

I would stick with what your port arrival form says. That will be specific to your sailing. Shoreside is also known sometimes to give out incorrect advice. (FWIW, I just did online check in last night and my concierge PAT also starts at 10:45am.)

We sailed concierge out of FLL earlier this year and I have pictures of my kids walking through the big Mickey head at 10:55, so they probably let us in around 10:45 like your PAT says. We were walking onto the ship at 11:35 (again, photos timestamp) so I definitely don't think 1pm is correct.
