Disney Magic back in Barcelona for Transatlantic cruise departing Saturday

Ah, a couple of people mentioned Vibe had moved as well. DD will be relieved it hasn't!

So, an update from the ship. We currently sailing the Magic concierge and the lounge is not complete and not open. Chatted to Andy, he told us they are way behind schedule and it might get completed in the next few days. We got half a promise that there might be a soft opening, so holding thumbs for that. Fro. The outside it looks all done, will try get a few pics. We have had concierge drinks and snacks every afternoon in Keys. It has been a bit disappointing as I really did believe the lounge would be up and running. Thank goodness Andy is here, we were really happy to see him! Will post more updates if we get more info. Will try sneak some pictures too!

Can you tell me how a photo is not reliable???

Bree is also not on the ship, but getting photos from friends.

My apologies. I did not see and obviously missed @Bree's post #16 where they said they were not onboard. Only thank you messages for the pictures and requests to visit other areas and report back with other pictures. Obviously first hand experience and photo's are better than being passed on from others. As you had only posted one picture and they had posted more. I was not referring to your photo, more that as I perceived Bree was aboard, with first hand experience, and you were not, and it was said that you were a reliable source over another poster who I thought was aboard.
Obviously I was incorrect and misunderstood Bree's source of photo's, so I apologize.

Oh, I hope so!!! Perhaps that will end the soap opera that is the laundry room. As the Dryer Turns. One Washer to Use. The Washers and the Restless. Wasn't sure what was the better show, Disney Dreams or Laundry Wars.

While I don't know the answer to that, I would think not. There's already a laundry room on deck 2. Unless they've closed it, and put a new one in, I doubt that they would have 2 on the same floor.

I just remember the cruise line blog was saying something about that back in July. It could be just wishful thinking.

But what "Recent experiences" did he mean? Was that really dramas in the guest laundry rooms on board?

I'm figuring he was recently on a cruise and attempted to use the laundry room on deck 2. Yes, as most laundry rooms onboard ships are, the one on deck 2 Magic is small. And that can lead to some drama (people leaving their laundry in the machines and not returning in a timely manner to remove them, for example).

We've never really had an issue with the laundry rooms, we tend to be early risers (even on cruises) and either do laundry at 7 am or, sometimes at dinnertime. We've found that we can put our clothes in the washer, go to dinner order and eat our entree, just in time to return and switch now washed clothes to the dryer. Returning after dessert to pick up freshly dried clothes and take them to our room.

I want to know if there is any more problem with the smell in staterooms on deck 2.

Ewe have always stayed on deck 2 on Magic and have never experienced any bad smells??

I thought some people complained about the smell after the last dry dock. I have stayed on deck 2 before long ago without any problem. But I have booked my next trip on deck 2 on Magic, that's why I am curious.
