I would like to give a shout out to Adam, one of the servers at Carthay Circle, for adding some amazing Disney magic on a very busy holiday weekend.
We had dinner reservations for 6 this past Sunday night (with 4 teenagers), and he was a fantastic server. Wine and food recommendations were on point! We loved the 2+ hour dining experience so much that we asked if we could dine with him on Monday (President's Day) before leaving the resort at 7p to catch our flight at LGB.
He went to see what he could do, and came back and told us that there weren't any reservations available, then pulled out a card and said he was able to squeeze us in at 4:30 and we would be seated in his section.
Having to check out before park opening on Monday, without a room to go back to midday, made for a long, tiring day. Having the opportunity to dine for 2 hours prior to leaving the resort was a wonderful way to end our trip! Adam even offered to give us a CM front of the line pass for any one ride, but seeing as we had a 7p pickup, we weren't able to do it.
We will definitely go back to Carthay anytime we are at DL and will ask for Adam. He has friendly, accommodating, and didn't seem put out dealing with 4 moody teen boys.
