Disney Magic 9-Nov-14 5n Western Caribbean from Miami

Hi, I am new to the DIS but joined specifically for the great cruise threads. Not sure I'll get this right but hoping to set up a group for this cruise with FE lists etc.
I have also started a facebook group, but I can't put a link in yet as not done enough posts so will add it later.

Hoping to get to know some more people who will be on this cruise.

It will be our first ever cruise and will be me (Karen), DH (Iain) and our 3 children - Charlotte will be 10yrs, Archie will be 5yrs and Lucy will be 3yrs old when we cruise.

We've also booked our first cruise on the Disney Magic. There will be me (Jen), DH (Ron), and our son Ryan, who will turn 6 on Nov 10th.

Hi there, this will be our 3rd Cruise. There will be myself (Zaid), DW (Rae), DS (12), DD (10), DS (turning 7 on the cruise). We have sailed twice before on the Disney Dream. Looking forward to cruising on the re-imagined Magic! Its a surprise for the family!

Hi - just got an email this morning from DCL that they are replacing the Magic on this date with the Wonder as the magic is being repositioned to Port Canaveral. I had my heart set on the Magic as it will be refurbished for this cruise. So I have had to change our vacation plans and as a result we will not be on this cruise

Sorry, but please remove us from the FE list. For those of you still going on this date on the Wonder - have a safe and fantastic voyage!

I just booked this one this week and it still showed the Magic. The last time Disney made a change to one of our cruises, we were notfied but the cruise itself was not available for online booking for over a month while the system was updated. URGHHH....this may make my decision for me since we also wanted the Magic not then Wonder.

I too am angry as this cruise has been changed to the Disney Wonder, and the Disney Wonder isn't getting it's refurb before this cruise (I heard they applied for extension to dry dock so refurb will be 2015). I really wanted the Disney Magic post refurb.

I am still booked on this cruise but also booked on the Dream from PC on Nov 10th for 4nt with double dip at Castaway Cay, they are the same price. I can't decide which I'd prefer as I had planned quite a lot of stuff around the Miami departure and was looking forward to 5nights onboard. But then again my children will love 2days at Castaway Cay and the extras on the Dream.

I will see if there is a new thread for this cruise on the Wonder and merge them, or just switch this to being a thread for the Wonder.

Sorry not been on the Dis for a while, I have changed the name of the group now since we are on the Wonder and not the Magic. It is called "DCL Wonder 9-Nov-14 Western Caribbean"

So far there is only my husband and me in the group so looking forward to some new members

On my last cruise I went on with friends us adults did a pajama night on the last night of the cruise and all sat out on the deck with popcorn and watched a movie.so much fun. Thinking about doing it again with my son and whoever else wants to join.

HI! I know we are sooooo late in booking this cruise, but I was hoping to maybe find a pen pal for my daughter. She is nine years old, and she is an only child. This would be our first cruise.
