Last Sunday Mickey's Not So Scary was giving out lots of chocolate ;) M&M's, Twix, Reece's and Nestle's miniatures.
Now if they would only listen to Pete about the crappy in-room coffee......

I noticed that too. I went to the party a week after the Podcast team did and found a LOT of differences in my experience to the one they described. I left with 2 bags FULL of candy, and there was a decent amount of good stuff in there: Milky ways, snickers, M&M's, skittles...and I got a nice bunch of Werther's candy too. The smarties were still fake, and there still was some cheap stuff in there-but there was a balance. All the stations were open and ready to go at 7, and nobody was playing candy police if you went back for more. We also got more Werther's on the way out for the "kiss goodnight".

I noticed a change in the Villian's dance show, but the parade was still the same. That was OK by me since I love that parade.

Fantasyland was still empty, and I do agree something could have been done over there.

My opinion…I just think the treat stations are not very consistent giving out the candy.

My family and I attended the Halloween Party on both September 13th and September 20th. We were receiving a handful of good chocolates or candies on the 13th, however on the 20th they were giving us two little green apple Werther's candies at a time or a bag of fruit snacks. We spent most of our time the second night taking advantage of the no wait ride lines.

For the amount of money it costs to attend the party we didn't think it was worth our time spending it in the long lines for the small amount of candy you may or may not get, depending on which night you go.

Interesting- if our lines had been very long and the candy wasn't good, we would have skipped it as well. No fun! Wonder why the difference? :confused3

I have no experience with MNSSHP, but I DO have experience as a volunteer food vendor at college football games. We would get soft drinks supplied to the stadium warehouse every third game or so, and by the last game before resupply it would be down to stuff nobody really wanted to drink. Plus we'd sell out by halftime.

It sounds to me like candy isn't resupplied before every party. If you go on an evening where the resupply has just come in, then there will be more candy. Possibly even better candy, because the CMs may well give preference to what they like themselves. If you go on an evening where the resupply comes in the next day, you'd be down to dregs and low quantities.

Just a theory. It would take a CM to test it.
