umm i was just woundering what is the best tower, what rooms would be the best. What floor would be the best to see fireworks from your room? stuff like that. Its my first time going to an acteal disney hotel and I want to make it grate and make sure we get a real good room where we can see fireworks from and stuff

The Sierra Tower has the best view of the park :) So I would go for that one. It is more expensive but worth every penny.

I stayed on a concierge floor of the Grand Californian with DVC points last week but did not have the concierge service. I think there is a lounge that would included with the concerige service, but what else is included that would warrant using more points (or dollars)?

um all i know is get to stay on a floor and get to have wine and chess at night and get to ask them to make all our dinner resvations and stuff like thta..thats relly all i know im trying to find out more

What do you mean that you will be using double DVC points for a 2 bedroom concierge? Do you mean you are using double the amount of DVC points so you can book 2 bedrooms? I'm not sure about the concierge lounge at the DL hotel, but I know at the Grand Californian they pipe the fireworks music into the concierge lounge where you can watch the fireworks from the concierge lounge balcony. We too will be using DVC points to stay concierge on our trip to the GCH. We are looking forward to relaxing in the lounge one evening to watch the fireworks whilst nibbling on the evening desert offerings.

My concierge floor room did have a great view of firewaorks but I saw them from within the park instead. There was a channel on the flat screen TV for fireworks music when they were playing.
The TV was in a different cabinet from before instead of the armomoire that matched the bed.

The TV also had a Princess bedtime story channel.
I had SPA toiletries

I don't know if these were unique to concirege or if all rooms had them.
I had SPA toiletries
These were the only differences in the room from when I stayed there in 2001
