Hi I was wondering if anyone has put their puppy/dog in the disney kennel. We are leaving in Oct and we will be putting our 5 month old bichon.. and I am so worried about her... I am hoping she will be taken care of and loved... So I am just looking for someone who has put their four legged loveable family member in there for some info...
thanks

i'm curious as well because my parents will be flying down for my wedding in 2 years and they won't dare leave their dog behind.

i've heard that you can go and feed your dog and take them for walks yourself if you like. i'm sure Disney treats them well....i mean...it IS Disney lol.

i was also wondering about the cabins? anyone know if they can stay in the cabin if you're there with them?

Hi...I used the Kennels before, they are ok, but you have to go there several times a day to walk your dog, feed your dog, etc., as the staff there does not do that, they used for a additional fee but not any longer. I have found a excellent kennel in Kissimmee, Fl about 15-20 mins away from Disney that I used and they are just great. Their website is www.basspetmotel.com check out this site. They feed, attend to your pet needs, walk your pet daily, have one on one time with your pet. I was so worried too leaving our Westie there, but it all good. I think you will be very happy once you look at this site, by leaving your dog here, frees you up to do what you want and have to break up your day by going to the kennell. Good Luck!

Your parents will not be allowed to keep their pet in a cabin. However FW does have a very nice kennel right there....very convient to use. If you should return to the kennel after closing to attend your pet, simply walk over to the Outpost and someone will come back and open it just for you. I think this is a great feature and really appreciated.
