Disney Just Cancelled 3 of my ADRs and Sent me $25 Gift Cards for each

The funny thing is, I was able to remake all 3 reservations for the same restaurants at essentially the same time. Thanks for the free $75 bucks Disney.

Note they were all Resort ADRs (Kona Cafe, Narcoossee's and Beaches & Cream).

Is this common? I've not had this happen before.

There was an IT glitch a little over a week ago where the system opened up a ton of new reservations that really did not exist. Many of us, including myself, moved reservations to a more desirable time, some were only 15 mins or so. Unfortunately, this would have overloaded the restaurants and not allowed for social distancing so they had to cancel any new reservations that they couldn't accommodate and gave each cancelled reservation 25.00 gift card, I actually received 2 due to 2 reservations being cancelled but was also able to reschedule them to very similar times. I gladly took the $50.00.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the additional info. These are for reservations on 1/7 and 1/12. Strangely, I was able to remake all the reservations within 15 minutes of their original times.
