I'm loving the new Disney Infinity game, my family is obsessed as I knew they would be! I could already imagine the $$ we'd be spending on it when it was announced, and yep I was right, Disney sure know how to rake it in! Is anyone else playing it, what do you guys think?

Just unpacked mine and spent an hour playing around in the Toy Box, didn't even make it to the play set yet. I think it is definitely something that will keep us occupied for a long time and I love how all the components are transferable so if I update to a Wii U I'll only have to buy a new game disc and not all the accessories.

The Cars playset is top of my wish list at the moment.

Was happy to read one of the tips saying you could put two of the same power disc down to double the effect. I'm pretty sure getting doubles will be inevitable with the blind packets.

I'm pretty disappointed with it to be honest. We bought it the day it was released for the wii. BIG MISTAKE. There were no reviews yet to pre warn me

You can't play 2 player in the playset mode....you can't download the extra buildings and pre built toy box from the Internet either. Yet nowhere is it advertised that the wii version had these limitations. Only after googling did I realise that they really shouldn't have made this for the wii. Feeling pretty ripped off actually. The kids played it for a while, but because only 1 can play in the play set mode to unlock things they tend to lose interest and go do something else.

DD nearly 11 wants it for her birthday next month. I'm sure now we will get it on Xbox rather than the wii.

SSOUR - The Cars play set is great fun for Cars fans, my son got it with his birthday money and just loves it.

I read about all the problems people are having with the Wii console, sounds like it should never have been made available with it as it is so limited. I recently upgraded to a Wii U and its all good with it.

I think its a good all round family game, my hubby likes the pirate game, the kids like MU and I love making my own scene in the toy box (mini Disneyland for the Disneyland freak :rotfl:)

We have it on wiiU - DD has liked playing it, we tried to do some two player games on Saturday night, while she was not home - we got a bit lost

And I just saw the Frozen and Wreck it Ralph Toy Box Sets plus the Toy Story Playset for pre-order at JB Hi-Fi - I think my Christmas wish list is full already!

We made the same mistake, I am not a big gamer and my kids are fairly young but we all love Disney and the advertisements made this game look incredible so we decided to take the plunge. It took me four days to realize the problems were the game and not me. In toy box mode we added some terrain blocks and started getting error messages saying we couldn't add anything else because the toy box was full. If I had any idea it was going to be like this I never would have bought it. I've been writing to Disney interactive to complain but haven't gotten a satisfactory response yet. My advice is to stay away if you have a Wii system, from everything else I have heard the other platforms are great.

I've been telling myself to not buy into it, because I don't want to commit to it on Xbox when the Xbox One is just months away...but I think the real reason I don't want to buy into it is because as soon as I do, my obsessive collector alarm will go off and I'll have to buy all the bits and pieces! :hyper:

Have you guys seen the prices of some of the rarer items on ebay??! :scared:

I bought one for my son but his birthday isn't until november so I have a long time to wait. lol

I'm one of the rare people that was able to exchange my infinity wii for the Xbox version..

I will say for those of you who are thinking of getting this for the wii, DON'T!
You will be Very disappointed... I could not believe the difference..

After having the chance to play on both platforms, I agree this should have NEVER been put on the Wii..
The list just keeps growing on the lickings for the wii..

One that has not been mention tho.. In the Lone Ranger playset the area where the buildings should be are VERY dark and you can not make out the different places..
Almost like there is just a big black wall, instead of a building.. Just another drawback it getting on wii..
