SEPT 15th -
My girls had to go to school on the 15th but had a half day so dh, ds and I picked them up at noon and off to Disney we headed. We live 3 hours South of Orlando in Palm Beach County. Easy and uneventful drive to Orlando, we were checking into POFQ by 3pm.

There was NO line for check in... when she asked if we wanted a non smoking room I mentioned that I had requested a room possibly in building 4. She proceeds to tell me that the hotel is completely booked except for building 7 and 1. Uh ok... i'm thinking not. But the resort is small and any room is a close room so I choose building 7. We are on the 3rd floor very close to the elevator.

We were going to MNSSHP tonight and my girls and dh were getting the Fl resident play 3 pass with hopping so we hung out in the room until it was time to go to the party. I was figuring we'd be able to get in by 6pm, although I know now we could have gone at 4pm. I even called the front desk to ask the earliest we could get in and they tell me.... get ready for this... we can't get in until 7:30!!! Uh, the party STARTS at 7pm. I said um no and we planned on leaving the hotel at 5:30. Until then, my girls finished all their make up work :woohoo: and we didn't have to think about it again the rest of the trip.

My kids got into their costumes and we headed out to the buses. We waited all of 2 minutes and we were on the bus heading to MK. Got there about a quarter till 6 and had to go to guest services for our tickets. We were chatting with the CM and my girls are chatting with a CM at the window next to us. Next thing I notice, they are telling the lady their names.... turns out they score free ice cream for all 5 of us... :cheer2:

Tickets in hand, we asked if we could go in yet and they said absolutely. So we make it in the park, get our bracelets and trick or treating bags and I tell the kids I want to recreated the picture we took in front of the castle last year.

Don't they look thrilled?

After we did that we went over to Tomorrowland.
day1MNSSHPStitch.jpg
day1MNSSHPspider.jpg

Buzz was still very crowded so we went on the TTA which is the kids favorite ride in Disney. Hop off of there and go over to the Space Jets, my sons first time on it and he loved it! By now, Buzz is less crowded so we head over there... actually ended up being a walk on. After Buzz, we got some sodas
day1MNSSHPpirateIan.jpg

and were planning on what to do next when it starts raining... not to hard so we start walking towards Toon Town. Then it starts pouring, I don't feel like walking around soaking wet all night so we dunk into Cosmic Rays. Reading the map, we find out that the 1st dance party of the night is starting in a few minutes. Funny because all we see is the regular stage with the alien dude singing and a cm standing next to it.

Well at 7pm on the dot, music starts and lights are flashing and up goes the stage towards the ceiling to produce another stage with Elvis Stich and the DJ.
day1MNSSHPStitchParty.jpg

My kids had a great time at the dance party, they did the twist and margarana and congo and even a hoola hoop contest. Donald Duck & Pluto came out to dance with the kids.
day1MNSSHPDonald.jpg

After we left the dance party, we headed over to Toon Town, it had stopped raining... for now. My girls are too scared to ride Barnstormer but I knew my ds would love it and he was finally tall enough. And I was right, he LOVED it.. I couldn't get any pictures of him on the ride though, bummer. We went into the judges tent to see what characters were there, the only line open was for Cinderella and the line was very very long so we skipped it and headed back towards Fantasyland.

It was raining again at this point so my kids and dh went on the Tea Cups. At this point they were checking for wristbands, it was amazing how many people were trying to get on the ride without one. After tea cups, it wasn't raining anymore but it was thundering. We did our first trick or treating of the night at Poohs Hundred Acre wood..
day1MNSSHPCandy.jpg

And we walked right onto Poohs ride. We were surprised to see Snow White & all 7 dwarfs out so we hopped in line to take a picture.
day1MNSSHPSnowWhiteDwarfs.jpg

Because of the thunder and lightening, they had closed down Dumbo for a bit so my kids got to enjoy the dance party at Ariels Grotto for awhile. We saw Dumbo reopen and walked right onto the ride...
day1MNSSHPDumbo.jpg

After Dumbo we went to Mickeys Philharmagic because it was pouring yet again. Then we took a quick ride on the Carosel...
day1MNSSHPCarosel.jpg

Once we were done with the carosel, the kids (ok and dh too) that they were tired & tired of the rain and wanted to leave. I was pretty much ready too so we headed towards main street. Ah, 5 free ice creams had to be redeemed so we had Mickey Mouse Bars all around. After we finished, we saw a CM doing balloon animals. He was quite talented, but it took time to finish each creation. Which made me happy because I got to watch HalloWishes while the girls were getting their balloons made.
day1MNSSHPcindyballoon.jpg
day1MNSSHPMinnieBalloon.jpg

The original plan was to watch the 2nd parade from main street but it was still 45 minutes away and the kids insisted they wanted to head back to the hotel. Next - day 2 including Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique

Day 2 -

Sometime during the night, the girls "Fairy Godmothers" left them invitations for Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique this morning. They were extreemly surprised and excited! We drove the car over to Downtown Disney and arrived a bit early for our 9:30am appt which was the first appts of the day.

day2BBBGirlsBefore.jpg

At 9:30 they opened and my girls went up to the counter proudly producing their invites from their Fairy Godmothers. Luckily the CM's went right along with it and gave them their brochures with their names on it... pure magic for my girls I tell ya! They both wanted the fairytale look because of the tiaras. No problem for my younger dd but my older dd has very short hair but the CM told me she'd be able to do something with it.

So they started working their magic...
day2BBBGirlsBegin.jpg

My younger dd was done first and boy did she look gorgous...
day2BBBJuliaBackHair.jpg

I then notice my older dd, she's got a pony tail at top and one sticking out of each side. I'm like OMG, NO! She gets turned around to see herself and I was LMAO at her expression, she was less then thrilled. So I go up and ask her if she'd like something different, with hair extentions maybe and she said yes PLEASE. So her fairy godmother in training goes at it again. This time Hannah was thrilled...
day2BBBpixiedustHannah.jpg

After they were done, the CM got Hannah a special Birthday Princess banner instead of the regular BBB one and she announce her birthday to everyone and she got sung to by everyone in the shop...

We went over to Guest Services so they could have their photo shoot which they loved. From there we decided to get on a bus to the Contemporary to eat lunch and play some games in the game room. My girls were eating up all the attention they were getting! On our way into the hotel, a CM (looked like the manager on duty) welcomed us and asked us where we were going because Hannah had an important phone call she needed to take. Turned out to be Goofy wishing her a happy birthday.

On the way to the food court, I stopped by the front desk to see if we could get a ressie for San Angel Inn for dinner, easy enough I got a PS for 5:15pm. We got hot dogs and fries all around and while we were eating a CM came up to the girls and asked if they would sign her autograph book. In return she gave them a certificate for a free dessert of their choice... of course they all pick those huge cupcakes. YUM!

DS is very tired at this point, so DH decides he is going to take him back to the hotel to rest. I would be taking the girls to MK to see the princesses and we would meet dh and ds back at the hotel to go to Epcot. We took the monorail to MK and got on the train to Toon Town. My girls wanted to sit at the back of the train. The engineer working at the back of the train asked my younger daughter if she wanted to say All Aboard, she was thrilled. Once we got to Frontierland, she asked my older daughter if she wanted to do it next and also announced that it was Hannah's birthday. They received little cards from her and told them if they wanted to ride the back of the train again, to present the cards... very cute.

The line for the princesses wasn't too bad. It was funny, in the line there were 3 families in a row with Hannah's. The one father thought it was so funny he lined them up for a picture. My girls visited with the princesses who all loved their hair and costumes.
day2Cindy.jpg

Hannah had her ears pierced about 2 months ago and I promised her a new pair of earrings in Disney World. She picked out a pair of Cinderella ones and we got in line to pay. A CM came up to the girls and asked if they would like to be the guest Potato Head makers of the day. The girls were thrilled and made cute Potato heads for the lady who placed them up on a shelf with a certificate and gave the girls Magical Moment certificates...
day2PotatoHeadDay.jpg

We headed back to the train to go back to the front and my girls pulled out their little train cards. They ran to the back of the train and sat down. The engineer asked Julia if she wanted to say All Aboard again but she said no, so Hannah got to do it. There was another CM at the back of the train and he asked the girls if they wanted to ride standing up in the back of the train with them... my girls loved this!

We made it back to the hotel and picked up dh and ds. We wanted to allow ourselves time to get to Epcot for our PS at San Angel. We made it out there in plenty of time for our 5:15pm ressie... not without a quick stop in to see Mickey Mouse along the way.
day2EpcotMinnieMickey.jpg

As usual, our meal was very very good and we love the atmosphere and all. After we ate, we took two spins around El Rio De Tiempo, my girls 2nd fav ride in all of Disney World. They wanted to start the Kidcot masks which they did in Mexico, we knew we weren't going to all the countries but they love these things... It was only 7:30pm by this time but we were all exhausted so we headed back to the hotel for bed. My girls at this point thought we were leaving tomorrow... hee hee.

Coming up -Day 3 - the surprise

what a wonderful day your kiddos had.......Sounds like a lot of pixiedust everywhere.......I loved their hair dos and their faces....they are beautiful princesses....Thanks for taking the time to tell us and also those photos....

Day 3 -

We packed up our stuff early this morning because we wanted to get to Magical Beginnings at MK. We got the stuff in the car and headed to the buses. There was only one other family waiting who was telling us how great Magical Beginnings was. We got to MK in time for their opening... wait what opening? They played the soundtrack but nothing happened and we were let in, lol. We began the long stroll to the castle. We were passing Tinkerbell Treasures and my girls wanted to see if they could wake up Tink. When we got inside, we saw the same family that had gotten on the bus with us at POFQ. So I told the girls they could watch... they'd done it about 18 months ago so they weren't too disappointed. But the mom of the other family told my girls they could help wake up Tink. While they were making Magical Moments certificates, the mom and I started talking and found out she was a Disboardie... Hi Windy City Heather!!!

We went outside when the certificates were done and found Wendy & Peter Pan playing games with the kids. My girls joined right in, they were playing follow the leader...
day3PeterGames2.jpg

Day3PeterGames.jpg

And they played duck duck goose...
day3PeterWendyGames.jpg

After playing games for awhile, Peter Pan asked my daughter if she and her siblings wanted to ride his ride with him. My younger daughter was scared of Peter Pans ride and said no thank you. And up until now, my ds did not care for faced characters, he LOVES the plush characters though! But he decided he liked Peter Pan and he took his hand and they walked over to the ride. Here is where my older dd chickened out which left Peter and my ds to go on the ride. I was nervous because he'd never even been on the ride before. They rode in one boat and I rode in the boat behind...
day3IanPeterPan.jpg

He turned out to LOVE the ride.. I could see Peter pointing stuff out to him and he was holding on and smiling the whole time... so cute!

After we left Peter Pan, we went on the race cars and Buzz and the People Mover all before Toon Town opened at 10am. We were at the rope drop and headed right in to see the princesses yet again. It was cute because Sleeping Beauty remembered my girls from the day before (my older dd had her fake hair still in but younger dd had insisted on washing it out the night before). My ds was playing shy and wanted nothing to do with them until Cinderella came up to him and started talking to him. All of a sudden, the kid decides he LOVESSSSSSS Cinderella. My dh asked him if he wanted down and he jumped out of his arms and ran into Cinderellas arms. It was so adorable...
day3IanCindy.jpg

She proceeded to give him a kiss on the cheek and we headed over to Snow White. She was already showing my girls how to pose like a princess...
day3girlssnowwhite.jpg

My ds was playing shy again until Snow White came up to him and he hugged her, but only while he was in dh arms. She proceeded to give him a kiss on the other cheek. He was quite proud of his kisses...
day3IanKisses.jpg

Once we left the judges tent, we told the girls we were going back to the hotel to get the car and we'd drive to MGM so that we could just leave MGM and drive home after. We got in the car and started driving. I told them to keep an eye out for MGM signs to direct us which they enjoyed. The final sign would have led us into the park and my dh was "accidentally" in the wrong lane and missed the turn. He had to take the next turn to "turn around" which was the road that led us into the Boardwalk. We pull in telling them we hope they will let us turn around. We get through security and tell them we might as well park here and take a boat to MGM (thank goodness they are young enough still to not know that is a disney no no, hee hee)... so we park.

Then I turn around and tell them I have a different idea. Why don't we just stay here for another 3 days? They were very surprised, confused and excited. We gathered up our luggage and stuff and went to check in. There was no line for check in, but our room wasn't ready yet. We left our stuff with bell services and took the boat over to YC/BC to eat lunch at Beaches & Cream. The wait was about 20 minutes so the kids played games in the game room.

We had a delicious meal at Beaches & Cream. While we were there, 3 different families got the kitchen sink... wow! We settled for a brownie sundae, sooo good. After we ate we went back to the BW and found out our room was ready. We were on the 4th floor, fairly close to the elevator and facing the pool. BW is Hannah's favorite Disney hotel so she was in 7th heaven.

We rested for awhile before heading back to MK for EMH. We were able to get the bracelets right when we got in. This time we headed towards Frontierland to finally ride Pirates of the Carribean. Only waited in a 5 minute line... my girls were terrified but went on anyway, they ended up enjoying the ride. After Pirates we were hungry so we went into Peco Bills and found a seat. My girls weren't too hungry so dh got them a healthy meal of McDonald french fries...aye. I had a bbq beef sandwich and dh had a burger. DS ate off of everyones plates.

With bellies full we went over to Tomorrowland and rode Buzz, TTA and the teacups. We went on the race cars just as the fireworks were starting, I tell you what, it was truly magical to watch the fireworks on the racecars. We took our time down the track so we could watch. When we came to the end, we were backed up to the gate by Toontown. They had closed our section of the racecars... we got to watch the finallie of WISHES and then had to get out then and there and walk the track back to the exit.

As we usually do with EMH, we ended up going back to the hotel almost right after the regular park closing.... LoL. We were tired!!! (I don't know how we didn't get any pictures from tonight?)

Up next Day 4 - Epcot & MGM finally!

I don't believe it..... there is an end? NOOOOO! I have to wait? WHAT? NO!

Your girls are pretty cool too, I'm twelve and I know I would have loved the BBB when I was like, 5- meep. Yep yep, keep going, it's awesome!

Day 4 -

This was our last Disney day, we were checking out the next day and going to Sea World for the day before heading home. We were up in plenty of time to have breakfast at the bakery before getting on the boat to the International Gateway Epcot entrance. We were about 15 minutes early and they let us in and up to the bridge where it was roped off. Once Epcot opened, we hiked all the way to Soarin. The last time we had done this, once you get to Journey To Imagination, you'd see the crowds pouring into The Land. Imagine our surprise when we saw no one heading that way.

We get into The Land and down to Soarin and it's a walk on. My dh took our girls first while I waited with ds.
day4iansoarin.jpg

When they came off, they rode again with me. I LOVE this ride!!! Living With The Land had been closed for a few weeks and the sign was still up on our way down to Soarin but when we were leaving, we noticed it was now open... but my girls didn't want to go on so we headed out.

From here we headed over to the Living Seas to see Crush. The first show of the day had just gone in and it still wasn't crowded so we got in line. A few minutes later we got into the show. Crush answered my daughters question of how old were you when Squirt was born and he was being so funny. He asked my daughter how old she was which was the same as squirt and asked if her mom was 150 years old when she was born and where do humans go to be born... very cute!

After Crush, we headed upstairs to see the fish and dolphins and on the way down my girls stopped at the Kidcot stop for their masks. Leaving here we went over to Innoventions where my kids made paper and played with other activities in there. We played the Where's The Fire game (Hannah & my Team won, whoo hoo!). Leaving there we rode Spaceship Earth, Hannah loves this ride, Julia does not like going backwards and was flipping out the whole time... but ended up LIKING to go backwards, go figure.

When we got off, we headed out towards World Showcase. We went into Mexico for a ride on El Rio Del Tiempo and out to China where we had some lunch. After lunch we walked around the showcase to Morracco to find Alladin. We found out Alladin wasn't there today but Jasmine was... my girls were thrilled of course. The was no one else around so they got to chat for awhile.

The girls had wanted to see Mikiyuki but somehow I misread the schedule and her show was already almost over and another one wasn't starting for another hour and a half. So we continued down to France where we stumbled across Sleeping Beauty & then Beauty & The Beast which was very cool because you don't see the beast very often...
day4beautybeast.jpg

There was a little show going on in France which we stopped to watch and then we made our way out of the International Gateway, onto the boat and back to the hotel.

My dh had to make a conference call at 4pm so we were left in the room to rest while he did that. Around 5:30 he made his way back and we headed over to MGM for EMH. Once again, we were able to get our wristbands when we walked in. My ds got sight of the balloon man who had the regular MGM balloons and they also had CARS balloon with Steve McQueen on it, he had to have it and we were thrilled to buy it for him...
day4IanCarsBalloon.jpg

We went over to the backlot by Indiana Jones and had some dinner. My girls surprised me by saying they wanted to see Fantastic (they were afraid before). So we headed over to the theater about 45 minutes before show time. We got great seats and I pulled out glow up bracelets I had brought from home. My kids spent the time playing with them until the show started. I had forgotten how cool the show was! They enjoyed it as well.

After the show, we made our way over to Playhouse Disney. The show wasn't for about 25 minutes but we got in line anyway, my kids wanted to be first in line. They let us in about 10 minutes later... there was barely anyone in line! The show was adorable as usual... my kids like it and that's what counts. After Playhouse Disney, we went over to Voyage of the Little Mermaid which was starting in 15 minutes... again barely anyone waiting. So we saw this show with no problems.

After the show we decided there was nothing else open that the girls were willing to do so we headed out of MGM back on the boat and back to the hotel. We had promised the kids funnel cakes on the boardwalk (there is a booth right next to the boat dock) and we got there at 10:30pm. Another family was standing there saying no way.... turns out even though it was supposed to close at 11pm, the guy working it had closed early because he had to get home... he had school the next day. Are you kidding me? I thought the other lady was gonna burst, she was upset! I told the girls we were sorry but no funnel cakes tonight and headed back to the room... not the best ending to our Disney vacation, lol.

Well that's the end of the DISNEY part of our trip. I haven't uploaded Sea World pictures yet. We actually didn't do to much over there, there was no Believe show because a new Whale had been born the day before. Sea World was actually quite packed compared to Disney World... and it was very very HOT and sunny. So we were only there about 3 hours before we headed on home.

We had a great Disney vacation... full of pixie dust, magical moments and plain old fun!

I enjoyed your trip report. Your children are so cute.
