Hi, I am hoping to go back to the World for our third trip in November. Does anyone know when Disney decorates the parks for Christmas? I really want to see it all done up for Christmas but want to miss the larger crowds. I was thinking to go mid November. I think in 2013 they had Free Dining starting around Nov.11 ish. Also thinking that this time we might do a combo trip. Some park time and then a 3 or 4 day cruise. Has anyone done this? Was it worth it? Any and all advice welcome. :)

Thanks

:) My experience is limited. We were there 10/31-11/08 last year. We did the last Halloween party and first Christmas party. Which was on DH's bucket list. On 11/8 the tree at AKV was not up. The fall decorations are all gone by the first MVMCP. Then things slowly appear. Osborne Lights started 11/8 as well. I think the second week and before Thanksgiving you should be able to see most of them. I did not see any trees up at any of the parks except AK I think.

We love going in November! Weather is good - little rain and comfortable temps. We went last year from Nov. 6-13 and had a great time. Christmas decorations were up at MK for the 1st MVMCP and soom after for the rest of WDW. Once you get beyond Veteran's Day weekend, the crowds tend to die off until the ramp-up for Thanksgiving.

Have fun! :goodvibes

I was there November 10th-17th. We did a ro on the 10th at pofq then switched to POR on the 11th so we were able to get the fd. All the Christmas decorations were up in all parks and went to hs to see the Osborne Christmas lights. The weather was great and the crowds were not bad at all.
