Disney in July

Has anyone ever gone to DW in July? and/or March Break?

We are considering a July trip as dh gets 2 week holidays then...but we're not sure about the crowds, heat etc.

In 2004 we were there for the second half of March Break and while it was busy, it was totally bearable...just curious how July would compare.

Hi, the heat in July is very intense. I thought it was crowded, but others might not. I can't compare.

We went in July '05. We were there for 10 days. Yes, it was extremely hot and crowded but we had the time of our lives. The heat made us really enjoy our time at the pool and relaxing around the resort. As far as the crowds/lines at the parks, we went there keeping in mind that we would wait in long lines. That mental prep made it seem not that bad and we also became fastpass experts which also helped.

We were also there for 10 days in July 2005 and to be honest the heat wasn't a problem at all. It averaged in the high 90s low 100s the entire trip. There were large crowds but we managed to avoid most, never stood in line for more than 20-25 minutes for anything except one bus at closing time.

We went in july, last year and found it very hot ,not that it spoiled our plans. usually went back to the resort and reaxed in the middle of the day and then headed back out again later in the day. this year we are going in may,a little less hot and hopefully less crowded and its a little cheaper.

We also went in July 05 and broiled under the Florida sun and waiting in the looongest lines ever. I swore I would never go again during a school vacation.
