Disney in February

What is it like in February? weather/crowds. 3rd week compared to 3rd week in April. there is no choice being a Ma. school teacher i have those two choices and summer to choose from. oh yeah ahd christmas but i know that is probablly way to expensive...

And the weather was AWESOME!!!! It was between 50 and 78 as a high on different days and the crowds were AWESOME!! The longest we waited in any line was 30 mins and that was on Test Track...everything else was usually around 15 or walk on even. We took advantage of MK's EMH one evening and walked on EVERY ride we wanted to go on. It has been our favorite time to go so far and I would highly recommend it. You beat most of the spring crowds...We think it will be our permanent time to go from now on.

The thing about Feb. is Presidents weekend, Mardi Gras and Daytona 500. I believe that Presidents weekend is going to be the weekend of the 18th, Daytona 500 is Feb. 19th, and Mardi Gras is Feb 28th. WDW can get busy at these times but other than that , it is pretty nice. It can get cold, as far as sweatshirts and jeans, but that's OK.

I went 3/5-3/12 this year and everything was perfect. I'm used to going in the summer, so I would have liked it to be a little warmer, esp at night. But it was in the 70's all week, one day it rained and was only 58. But during the day it was perfect. As for crowds, I'll never go in the summer again! We only had to use FP once during the whole trip, and that was our last day when a cheerleading competition arrived. Other than that, we never waited more than 20-30 minutes. I know people who went the last 2 weeks in Feb, and they said President's weekend was really crowded. The crowds shouldn't be too bad early Feb, but the weather is really iffy. It can go either way.

what is the average wait for a popular ride during the summer. i know when i went easter week in 01 it was like an hr. if not more for most rides. id NEVER do that again.
