Friday 12/8

We slept until 10am this morning, got up and showered and at breakfast from World Premiere in the room while watching cartoons on Disney Channel. We arrived at MGM around 11am and the first thing I wanted to do was go see Beauty & the Beast. I had never seen it and had been meaning to since our trip in 2005. The show, however, was starting at 11:40 and the line outside the theater was like 80 miles long. So we walked all the way to the back of MGM, to were they have the Osbourne Lights set up, but of course it was daytime so they weren’t lit up or anything. We watched Mulch, Sweat, & Shears perform for a little while (they were pretty good and a lot of fun to watch!) There was a shop over there that had some stuff set up outside so I browsed through it while watching the show and I found some WDW iron-on patches that my mom had asked me to pick up for her while I was here (which until I saw them, I had completely forgotten about). After the show was over, we went back to the Animation Courtyard and Clarice was out there so we stood in line to meet her for the first time. I love meeting new characters! As soon as we were two families away, a CM came out and said that Clarice was taking a break but Chip & Dale would be coming out to take her place. She then said that they were running a little late so Clarice would still take pics and do autographs for us and the family in front of us. The family in front went, and then Chip & Dale showed up so we got turned away from meeting Clarice. The CM said she would be back at 12:40 and it was only 12 o’clock. So we left the line and wandered down Mickey Avenue. I saw Jojo, from Jojo’s Circus and had to take a picture for my 3 year old God-daughter who is obsessed with that show. We stopped at another outdoor shop and bought Rabbit, Kanga/Roo and Owl plushes, then headed back towards Animation Courtyard. By the time we got there, Clarice was back but most people were walking by her going “who is that?” so we were only the 2nd people in line.

We looked around under the hat since we were right there, and Lumar found another million dollars worth of pins he wanted, but I told him we would stop by before we left for the night so that he didn’t have to carry the bag around all day (I clearly had my pocketbook with me and we could have stuck the pins in there, but I really didn’t feel like waiting for him to check out, but he bought my story anyway). We went inside the Animation Studio and met Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable, who were totally awesome by the way! It’s scary how much they look like they do on TV….

I wanted to go do another “Learn to Draw” session but one had just started and I didn’t feel like waiting. We went back down to the “Which Character Are You?” machines…I always get Tinkerbell or Meg (from Hecules). Lumar got Jafar, but when I answered questions as him, I got Buzz Lightyear…. I told him it’s because I see him as my hero. That made his day so he bought me stuff in the gift shop outside. :cool1:

We went to Star Tours and thankfully got a better seat than last time. Here’s Lumar outside Tatooine Traders:

Somehow by now it was already 2:45 and I was hungry. We walked all the way back around to Pizza Planet (2 Woody’s Meal Deals!) and sat inside to eat. We were originally going to eat at Rosie’s All American but it was so cold outside we opted for PP instead so we could indoors. Around 3:30 we headed back to Hollywood Blvd and mulled around in the stores for an hour. I was looking at classic Mickey t-shirts but they just don't make them in a comfortable fit for us curvy women. We went back outside and found a great spot on the sidewalk to watch the parade from. There were 2 street performers out there, one was Officer A. Jabroni, who was wearing jingle bells on his ankles and carrying a Christmas stocking, taking up a collection for the “Donut Drive.” The other was a Movie Director whose name I did not catch. There was a 2 year old boy named Mason sitting next to me, who the director gave $1000 to (fake money) and he kept throwing it into the wind and chasing it down Hollywood Blvd. It was the cutest thing ever! The director told his parents “well I’m glad he has enough money that he can just throw caution to the wind! Literally….” We all laughed and then he noticed that I was writing in my handy-dandy notebook. He asked me if I was writing in my diary and I told him that I was actually taking notes for my scrapbook and my trip report. He then made fun of me for being from CT (the state of nothing, I think he called it, which is completely accurate) and then he noticed I was wearing my birthday button so he gave me $1000 too. Their backs are to me in this picture but here are Officer Jabroni and the director:

Finally it was 5pm and the parade started. Can I just say that I LOVE MY NEW CAMERA! I got great pics of the characters!

After the parade, we went back to RnRc and got FP’s, rode ToT which had only a 10 minute wait, then went back and walked around the RnRC gift shop because it was way to cold to wait around outside. After our final ride on RnRC for this trip, we started to head out but stopped to buy some hot chocolate on the way. It was too cold to stay for Fantasmic, which we were both very sad about, and too cold to go to DTD, so we went back to ASMo. Lumar started putting all of his pirate pins on his lanyards:

and I started packing up our stuff :sad1: , since tomorrow would be our last day but it was also going to be my 24th birthday so I was a bit excited!

Your camera does take wonderful pictures. What kind is it. I just bought a canon digital eos. I LOVE it!! A little heavy though.

Oh well great pictures and biceps!! Woohoo!

thank you! My camera is a Canon Powershot S2 IS.

And whose biceps are you talking about? :rotfl: I guess you mean Lumar? He was in the army a few years ago (right after high school) and his arms are the only things that stayed in shape! But don't tell him I said that! ;)

Saturday 12/9

We woke up this morning at 8:00am and although we knew it was inevitable, we were sad to find our DME tags on the door. But it was my birthday and I was determined to make it the best one yet! I was actually kind of happy to have them on the door in the morning, rather than come back at night and have ruin the whole day. Of course, I was still sick – feverish, runny nose, etc. I had been chugging down orange juice, seemingly by the gallon since I first started feeling sick on Wednesday. I think it helped to not make my symptoms any worse, but they certainly were not going away. The mornings were the worst, and I was usually feeling better by the afternoon so I hoped it would be the same today.

We were on a bus to the MK by 8:30 so we could make it to Crystal Palace for our 9:05am reservation. I downed more orange juice along with my scrambled eggs, Mickey waffles, and sausage. Eeyore walked through our section just before we were seated so we didn’t get to hang out with him, but we did get some time with Piglet, Pooh, & (my favorite) Tigger.

Breakfast was very good and after Crystal Palace, our 2nd character dining experience, we decided that we are definitely doing more of these…They are sooo fun! Our server gave me a birthday cupcake (which I took with me in a plastic baggie since it was only 9:45am by the time we left) and a birthday card signed by all of the Winnie-the-Pooh characters.

After breakfast, the first place we headed for was Toontown since we didn’t get to it the first day we were here in the Magic Kingdom. We saw Goofy riding the Barnstormer but I was totally unprepared and did not get a picture. I really wanted to ride, as neither of us have ever done it before, but as we got in line I started having flashbacks of Pocahontas & her Forest Friends and I suddenly felt weird getting on. Keep in mind there were no other “adult only” parties getting on…. Have any adults out there ever gone on this without kids? We got out of line and went into County Bounty instead. Lumar wandered off to parts unknown and I was looking (where else?) in the scrapbooking area. I was actually looking at picture frames, decided whether or not to buy the square blue one with the words to “A Whole New World” on it, when a giant white hand appeared in my face…It was Goofy! Apparently he saw me standing there alone and stopped by just to say hello and happy birthday (he saw my birthday button)! It was awesome to have one on one character interaction like that, but of course my boyfriend was MIA so once again, I did not get a picture. We bought 2 coloring books and a pack of colored pencils for my God-son and God-daughter (Princesses and Incredibles), Lumar bought a small snowglobe that has Mickey looking through a trunk and pulling out his outfits from his most memorably cartoons (Mickey from Steamboat Willie is in the globe) and then we left. We got on the train and rode it all the way around the park to Main Street where we got off and met Clarabelle & Horace!

27.jpg

We walked around Main Street for a little while looking for Robin Hood who normally hangs out around here in the morning, but we couldn’t find him anywhere. I even stopped to ask two different CM’s if they knew if he would be out and both of them said “not until later today.” I was a little disappointed since he is one of my favorite characters, but I made a mental note to just check back here later today. The second CM I talked to told me to try Fantasyland too, since he showed up there sometimes, over by the Teacups. The crane was still up behind the castle which was upsetting because the work was supposed to be done by December 5th? It wasn’t there when we were in the Magic Kingdom on the 4th and it wasn’t here during MVMCP…why was it here now? I figured that was God’s way of telling me I really didn’t need anymore pictures of the castle…so we got our picture taken in front of the giant Christmas Tree instead.

114.jpg

We started with Tomorrowland since we never really spend enough time here. We got FP’s for Buzz (another new ride for us!) and then went on TTA (something else we had never done) where we got stuck for 10 minutes. It was kind of relaxing to be up there, away from everyone down on the ground was rushing around, but it was cold! Riding through Space Mountain was the best part! After we got off of that, we went and got FP’s for Space, then went and rode Buzz. It was so much fun but I totally suck at those kind of games…I have the worst aim in the world. After Buzz we went on the Carousel of Progress for the first time. Buzz Lightyear was actually standing at the entrance doing meet & greets when we got there but he was just finishing up with his last guest so we didn’t get to meet him. We really enjoyed this attraction and I know a lot of people say it needs to be updated but I kind of like it the way it is. After CoP we hung out with Stitch for a minute (he was just wandering around by himself, with a CM of course, outside of the ride exit)
47-1.jpg

and then we went over to Space. I read somewhere (maybe on the DIS but I can’t remember for sure) that the last time a Disney Park refurbed it took 3 years to complete, with the ride closed down for that entire time. I certainly don’t want our Space closed for that long, but wow, the tracks need to be rehabbed or something. It’s so loud and jerky that I got a HUGE headache after riding it. We still had a blast but I was very happy that I remembered to bring my Excedrin with me today.

After Space we went back through Main Street to see if Robin Hood was out there yet but still nothing so we walked all the way across to Adventureland. There were no FP’s left for Pirates and there was a 40 minute wait so we went to Liberty Square and got in line for the Haunted Mansion instead, which only had a 10 minute wait. There were rumors going around both on the DIS and in other places (including the mall, because Lumar heard it from the Manager at the Disney Store) that they were going to add Eddie Murphy AA’s to this ride but I really hope that’s not true…Not because I don’t like Eddie Murphy but to me, the ride is timeless, the movie: not so much. To me, Captain Jack Sparrow is a huge character and everyone knows him and loves him so it was OK to add him to PotC. But Eddie Murphy’s character (whose name in the movie escapes me at this moment), obviously is not in the same league with Captain Jack, nor is Eddie Murphy in the same league with Johnny Depp, therefore he does not deserve to have his likeness added to a Disney ride. Just my opinion, flame me if you wish.

Anyway, after Haunted Mansion, we went back to Fantasyland looking, once again for Robin Hood but once again he was nowhere to be found. We stopped in at Pinocchio’s Village Haus for lunch and after eating, walked by the Teacups one more time to look for Robin Hood. He still was not around but we did get a couple of good pictures of Alice & the Mad Hatter.

30-1.jpg

Lumar says he’s sorry that we can’t find Robin Hood and offers to get me ice cream from Mrs. Potts Cupboard to cheer me up. Yeah, that works! Yummy vanilla ice cream with caramel and hot fudge! Did I mention that I was supposed to be “dieting?” Between this ice cream and the 800 Nestle Tollhouse Ice Cream Sandwiches I ate this week, I think I can safely say that anything I walked off was back on, plus some. But it was good so I didn’t cry about it for long. After ice cream we went on Winnie-the-Pooh and Snow White, then I forced Lumar to go on the Carousel with me. He will tell you “it was alright” but I know that secretly he loved it.

31.jpg

After the Carousel we went back to Adventureland and there was only a 15 minute wait for Pirates so we got in line and went on. There was some guy sitting right in front of me who kept taking pictures with the flash on and I was SOO angry that I was seriously considering sneezing and “accidentally” knocking his camera overboard. My absolute biggest pet peeve when traveling to WDW is people who think the rules do no apply to them. I was so upset about this and I complained to a CM at the end of the ride but of course she didn’t do anything about it. The ride was already over and the guy was long gone. Even if he was still hanging around what was she going to do? Take his camera away? That wouldn’t solve the problem anyway but I was hoping maybe for her to bring us to the front of the line for another ride, but it didn’t happen.

By the time we got off of Pirates it was 7:00pm so we stopped at Aloha Isle on our way back to Main Street (the CM thought we ordered two Dole Whips but we had only ordered 1, so she gave me mine for free! Happy Birthday to ME!) Since it was really cold out and we were dragging our feet because we were so tired, we planned to stay only for SpectroMagic since they didn’t have it when we were there on Monday, and we had watched Wishes on Monday. Plus I still had like ALL of our packing to do. We found a great spot right in front of the Partners Statue but Lumar left to go to the bathroom. While he was gone, a family of 6 came and sat down right next to me. I told the mother that there was someone sitting there and she said “OK” but didn’t move. One of the kids, a little girl around 12, was sitting right in Lumar’s spot and she kept kicking me, shoving me, poking me, etc. So finally I moved her leg out of my personal space with my foot and she must have said something to the mom in whatever language it was they were speaking because at that point they got up and left. And thankfully so because Lumar came back from the bathroom like 30 seconds later. I asked him why he was gone so long and he said “well the bathroom is WAY over there!” and pointed towards Adventureland. “Where did you go?” I asked him. “Over by Peco’s Bills!” He responded, sounding annoyed that I didn’t know exactly where he was talking about. “Uh, there’s a bathroom right next to Casey’s….” I reminded him. Apparently he had totally forgotten about that one. We sat there talking about our week and what a great trip it had been and about 10 minutes before start time, Lumar has to go to the bathroom again. I reminded him about the bathroom next to Casey’s again, just to make sure he didn’t forget, and again while he was gone another family tried to take his spot. At least they moved when I told them someone was sitting there. Lumar came back and the show started shortly after. I really like the music to Spectro and I made a mental note to download it from the “Anyone Want to Download some Park Audio?” thread when I got back.

After Spectro was over we stopped at Exposition Hall to buy our Photopass CD (SO WORTH IT!! $99 and we had like 27 pictures on there! To print them all out individually would have cost well over $200, plus with the CD I knew I could print as many copies as I wanted; In addition to the fact that I didn’t have to worry about pictures getting ruined on the trip home. We will definitely be doing this again!

As we headed out of the park for the last time, I, of course, started to cry as I always do. This was the worst part of the trip but we know it has to happen. We arrived back at the ASMo by 9:30pm and I start packing like a mad woman. I was so tired, all I wanted to do was collapse in bed but I would rather stay up late and get things done than wake up earlier to do it in the morning. I know that it all works out to the same amount of sleep but waking up early is much harder to do than going to bed late. I got just about everything packed but there was some stuff that would not fit in our luggage. I had both suitcases packed as tightly as I could get them, my pocketbook was full to the top, and my backpack was bursting at the seams. Why didn’t I bring an extra suitcase with us?? I left out the stuff that wouldn’t fit and knew that I would have to stop in a Donald’s Double Feature in the morning to buy another bag for Lumar to bring on board as his carryon.

Finally I was climbing into bed at 12:15am. DME was coming to get us at 7:45am so I had the alarm set for 6:30 so we could shower, go buy a bag, pack the rest of our stuff, and check out before the bus got there. Tomorrow was going to be a long day….

And whose biceps are you talking about?
Oh, crap sorry! I meant Oh, well my camera takes great pictures and I will get nice biceps because it's so heavy.

That did kind of sound like I was checkin out your man didn't it??

The last day totally stinks! I was crying right along with you. Boy I hope it isn't that cold when we go. I can handle chilly, NOT COLD!! I have really enjoyed your TR!

:lmao: don't worry! I wasn't upset! That was pretty funny though!

It's soooo sad! I hate leaving! Our next trip is scheduled for October 5-14th....It will be me & lumar and my brother & his girlfriend/fiance whom he hasn't proposed to yet but will be next summer. Oh and I just found out yesterday that not only is SE going to be closed AND they are doing construction on CSR where we are staying, but BTMRR will ALSO be closed while we're there and there have been rumors about a RnRC rehab starting Labor Day and going though "the beginning of October" but so far nothing listed on allears.... I swear that if they close that down too, I'm just going to hurt someone. I can handle 2 rides being closed but not 3!

BTW, part 14, the epilogue (eulogy?? lol) should be posted tonight hopefully.

Sunday 12/10 - Sorry everyone, no pictures for today…the camera got packed!

We woke up at 6:30 this morning, and got ourselves ready for our journey home. I packed up our toothbrushes and contact lens cases, along with the other toiletries we had needed for the morning. DME was coming to pick us up at 7:45am for a 10:30 departure to Atlanta. We still had a whole pile of stuff that wouldn’t fit in either of our suitcases or our carry on bags, so I stuffed it all into two plastic shopping bags and we sadly left room 1728. When we got to the lobby, the first thing we did was go over to airline check-in counter. Donald’s Double Feature wasn’t open yet so I knew that whatever bag we bought there would have to be checked at the airport. This is a fantastic idea and I’m glad Disney started doing this. But on this particular morning, there were 2 CM’s behind the desk, one was new and the other was training her. The trainer was extremely rude (and it was only 7am) and she kept asking me for several different things at one time, then getting all huffy with me when I couldn’t produce it fast enough. I swear I felt like grabbing her by her shirt collar and telling her where to shove her flight schedule.

After we checked in, I notice that Donald’s Double Feature was in fact open…as it turns out they actually opened at 7am, not 8am. So if I had waited like 2 more minutes, I could have gone in, bought the bag, packed our stuff, and checked it with The Wicked Queen at the counter. But alas, that is not my kind of luck. The only duffle bag type thing they had was actually cute but cost $35. Since I didn’t really have a choice at that point in time, I was forced to suck it up and buy it. Something about spending unnecessary money is just made worse when your spending said money before the sun comes up. I went back out into the lobby and Lumar helped me shove all of our remaining items into the new bag, then I went over to World Premier to grab something to eat. I get very agitated and even down-right mean when I’m overly hungry and since I knew that this was going to be a long day, I knew I needed to get something in my stomach. Lumar told me he wasn’t hungry so I had him sit in the lobby with our stuff while I went and picked up a bowl of frosted flakes, milk, and orange juice. I had just gotten back to my seat in the lobby and opened my cereal when I remember that I still needed to check us out! By now it’s 20 after 7. I stand in line for 10 minutes, until 7:30 and in that time period the line moved ONE PERSON. I asked Lumar to stand in line for me while I ate my breakfast, so we swapped places and I shoveled that cereal into my mouth as quickly as I could. I took over in line again at 7:35. There were 2 groups in front of us who started complaining that DME was coming to get them at 7:45 (same bus as we were!) and they were going to leave without checking out if need be. Well of course, all of the sudden 4 more CM’s appear behind the counter and start checking people out. We checked out at exactly 7:45 and when we got outside the DME bus was already waiting and half full.

The trip to the airport was uneventful. The driver put on Finding Nemo but I was too tired to watch it and ended up falling asleep. Lumar woke me up when we got to MCO, and since we already had our boarding passes, all we had to do was check our extra bag. It was 8:45am when we arrived at the airport and it took us only 15 minutes to check the bag and find our gate. By 9:45 I needed something else to eat, as those Frosted Flakes just were not enough to hold me over. I went over to Burger King and got an egg & cheese sandwich for myself along with another orange juice…Lumar told me he still wasn’t hungry. We started boarding at 10am, and we found our seats quickly. At 10:10 Lumar turns, looks at me and says “I’m hungry.” Most of you right now are probably wondering how I kept myself from forcing my shoe down his throat, but it was too early in the morning for me to deal with this.
We took off right at 10:30am and we were in the back of the plane so it was nice and quiet. I fell asleep for about half an hour and we only had another half hour to go before touching down in Atlanta. Wow, that airport is so different depending on which side you come in on! I feel lost in that place! We found out which gate we needed and used their monorail (aka high speed train) system to Concourse E. From there, we had to walk all the way down to the end of the never ending hallway to gate 6. Our flight was scheduled to leave at 12:00 and by the time we got to the gate it was 20 of. They started boarding right away but this time we were in another really small plane and once again, right over the wing. I managed to fall asleep for 2 hours and woke up half an hour before we touched down in CT. It was gross and raining, of course but my mom and step-dad were there to pick us up. We found all of our luggage and headed on home.

Only 10 months to go until we head back! :thumbsup2 Thanks again to everyone who joined me on this report!

What a bummer! I'd have told her look lady, I'm leaving Disney today and I am already sad and upset, then you could have done the shirt collare and flight schedule thing.

At 10:10 Lumar turns, looks at me and says “I’m hungry.”
Some how I knew this was going to be the outcome. Geez!!

It was gross and raining,
Reality stinks!! How you can go from the most perfect wonderful place to doom is beyond me. If everywhere was as happy, we would never have to leave!!
Only 10 months to go until we head back! :thumbsup2

You will have a wonderful time! It was our best trip so far and Ohana was my favorite meal of the whole week! Thanks for reading my report! Have a great time on your vacation! :santa:

Just finished your great report and wanted to say thank you. So glad you had such a wonderful time. Your pictures were just perfect.

Good Morning Simba! I just found, and finished your report! So glad I spotted it! This year I will be visiting WDW in Dec for the first time, so I REALLY enjoyed your report!

Now tell me this: How did you manage to look soooo cute in ALL your pics? Please make me feel better and tell me that you did take some bad ones! You didnt look tired nor sick in any of them! And your boyfriend looked like he was saying "I'm too sexy for this vacation" in his pics! :lmao:

There is so much I want to comment on, but I'll just pick a few:

Now, I'm a VERY picky person. I am very particular about where I eat because I am not too keen on the really gourmet stuff. Chicken strips happens to be one of my favorite meals also. But I was taught a thing or two growing up: 1) if you don't like what we're having, go hungry. 2) If mom and/or dad tell you to stop whining, you stop before they finish their sentence. 3) If mom and/or dad are nice enough to offer to walk all the way across the Animal Kingdom to Mr. Kamal's in Asia to get you chicken strips, you don't reply (and I quote) "I don't care what you do I hate you for making me eat outside when it's hot!" Sorry, and please feel free to flame me, or boycott the rest of my TR, but when you're 13 years old and acting like this, you deserve a smack somewhere. And no, that's not child abuse, that's taking a page out of Aretha Franklin's book: "R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means." Your parents didn't pay around 10 grand for you to come on vacation to WDW and eat chicken strips kid.

THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! There is NO WAY I could talk to my Mother like that at home in McDonalds, further more, DISNEY WORLD! Kids get away with too much these days. So no flames from me! :thumbsup2

While at AK, I cant believe you spotted the hidden Mickey on the sheep! That was cool!
We walked though Goofy's Candy Co. (which, off topic a bit, I always think of when I'm reading Harry Potter and they talk about the candy shop, Honeydukes, in Hogsmeade...sorry I'm done being a nerd now),
As an (undercover) Harry Potter fan, I trully appreciated this reference. OH! You know you have to go back to Orlando in 2009 to the "other" park to see the Harry Potter section!

and when Mike came back with our skillet full of food, our jaws nearly hit the table! Mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, seasoned potatoes, bacon, and sausage. Before he left, he refilled our juice glasses and said the magic words “remember, it’s all you can eat so if you want anymore, just flag me down.” Lumar and I stared at each in awe that can only be brought about by Disney Magic at work
Isnt that place GREAT! I got hungry just reading that!

Well, I'm outta time! If I get a chance, I'll come back to comment on more!

Quote=Angelrose]Just finished your great report and wanted to say thank you. So glad you had such a wonderful time. Your pictures were just perfect.[/quote]

Thank you! I had such a great time using that camera! When we came back from our May trip, I was disappointed with the quality of some the pictures I was really looking forward to getting back, and at that moment I decided it was time to go digital! I'm still learning how to use all of the features, but this trip was the first time I really used it...and as you can see I got much better at it as the week went on! Thank you again for reading!!

Good Morning Simba! I just found, and finished your report! So glad I spotted it! This year I will be visiting WDW in Dec for the first time, so I REALLY enjoyed your report!

It was a fantastic time to go! No crowds or lines for anything! The decorations were beautiful and people in general just seemed to be in a better mood. The Christmas music did start to get annoying after a while though...lol

Now tell me this: How did you manage to look soooo cute in ALL your pics? Please make me feel better and tell me that you did take some bad ones! You didnt look tired nor sick in any of them! And your boyfriend looked like he was saying "I'm too sexy for this vacation" in his pics! :lmao:

Yeah I had to keep retaking the shots because I had a double chin or something like that! That's one greatt thing about having digital, is it gives you the option to retake everything! And yes, my boyfriend prides himself in being so photogenic...that's why I had to keep retaking the pictures I was in so that I didn't look totally beastie next to him!

There is so much I want to comment on, but I'll just pick a few:
THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! There is NO WAY I could talk to my Mother like that at home in McDonalds, further more, DISNEY WORLD! Kids get away with too much these days. So no flames from me! :thumbsup2

We were SO digusted with this whole scenario! I mean, the kids acting like that is one thing, but for the parents to just accept it and let it continue was just baffling :confused3

While at AK, I cant believe you spotted the hidden Mickey on the sheep! That was cool!

Yeah it took me by surprise too! I was like "what is that?" and then when I got closer I saw it was a Hidden Mickey! There were others that had numbers shaved on them and I think there were four that together made up "1971"....the 7 is right next to the one with the HM and I saw a 9 also but didn't realize at the time what it was supposed to be so I didn't take a picture!

As an (undercover) Harry Potter fan, I trully appreciated this reference. OH! You know you have to go back to Orlando in 2009 to the "other" park to see the Harry Potter section!

I'm glad somebody else knows what I'm talking about! Next time you are in Goofy's you will think about being in Hogsmeade! lol! And yes, we are already looking forward to that trip! Should be an interesting place...

Isnt that place GREAT! I got hungry just reading that!
Well, I'm outta time! If I get a chance, I'll come back to comment on more!

I LOVE Ohana! We are going there for breakfast again on our October trip and I can't wait! I seriously considered making breakfast reservations there for every day of our trip but to be fair to other restaurants, I switched it up a bit and we are going to try Boma as well since I've never been to AKL...hopefully it won't disappoint me!

Thanks for reading! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!!
