Disney hotels - room only bookings

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone has any ideas on how I can make a room only booking at the Hotel Santa Fe for one night without going through Disney directly?

We're gearing up for our tenth visit - our first for Halloween - but have hit a bit of a snag.

We normally drive to DLP and arrive around 7pm/8pm the night before our holiday starts having booked an extra night at the hotel via Expedia or someone similar....however this year, I can't see any room only options at any of the online hotel sites.

Ive spoken directly with Disney who quoted £330+ for bed and breakfast for one night

Anyone know any 3rd party sites that may allow room only bookings?

I didn't think they released room only rates until the off peak winter months, to be honest i would've loved to have booked a Disney hotel for our Halloween trip, so have been looking too, it means we could get Francilien or Fantasy passses rather than Dream ones, so do let me know if you come up with anything.

Would it be too much of a hassle to book an offsite? we've done this before at the Kyriad and the Rive Gauche Serris apartments in VdeE, I always use Travel Republic. I've only ever managed to get a Disney room in Jan and March.

Off-site isn't really a problem, we're just a little limited because there are 5 of us wanting to be in one room.

Also, being a lazy, creature of convinience - getting into our room a day early, unpacking and a decent nights sleep has always let us kick our holiday off with a great start...especially after the 12 hour drive

At the prices I've been quoted, off-site for one night is going to be our only option, with the Kyriad looking the likely choice.
It looks quite nice, isn't too far away and is very competitively priced (I was quite surprised at the price differences for this time of year - Explorer was £100 for a room for 6 in the Feb half term....but is £186 for the Oct half term )

I'll post a link if I find anything, but it's not looking good...

DLP usually only release room only for sale by other agents for stays between november and february/march.
