Disney Hotel Discounts?

Hello. Might be heading out to Anaheim for a day or two in the fall. Historically, when do discounts come out for the three Disneyland properties? (assuming that they do have discounts)? Thanks!!!

I've been watching when Disney announces promo's to see if there is a trend.

Last year there was a promotion through late September. Not sure the date range of the promotion or when it was announced.

The last two years the end of October, Disney has announced a promotion for Jan to April.

To get an idea of when they might come out here are a few of the past promotions.

One thing I have noticed is each time has been a Wednesday.

You can book a room now and if a promotion does happen, you can call and request an adjustment. I've done that several times before.

Have you kept track of when late spring/early summer specials come out?

That's the one I've never paid any attention too.
But now I check for specials at least weekly to see if something will come out for Summer.

Which of the three Disney hotels do you prefer? We walked through GC and ate in at DL hotel yesterday and they both are very nice from the lobby.

I have stayed at all three many times. I really don't have a favorite, all 3 are fine for sleeping.
Each one has it's own characteristics-theme.

Since I mainly use the hotel for sleep, I choose based on Price. Unless it's a special occasion trip, then I might splurge.
I try to keep the budget of a trip as low as possible. I'd stay on Harbor if I could but my husband will only let me go if I stay on property.

I'm happy staying at all three of the Disney hotels

Hmmm... We all loved Courtyard and I think we will stay there again next year. Although Pluto as the greeter at the Disneyland Hotel and Minnie in front of goofys kitchen were impressive! My kids were going crazy. Until we went into the afternoon tea. Then all fun was over.
