Aww I missed it! Now I have to search the Travel channel to find a re-run. And hey wishspirit I am just now watching a lot of BBC shows through Netflix...any good ones you can recommend, feel free to let me know!
my favourite BBC shows:
- Top Gear- It is a show about cars, but don't let that put you off, i am really not into cars, but the presenters are hillarious and the antics they get up to are 'wet yourself' funny!
-Have I Got News For You- Satirical take on news of the week, may not be relevant for an American audience as it has a lot of British politics, but its funny anyway.
-Live at the Apollo- Stand up comedians, some British and some American, doing a short stand up gig. Very funny
- QI- very funny quiz show hosted by Stephen Fry finding out some of the weird and wonderful things in the world. Stephen Fry is one of the funniest, most wonderful men on TV. If you see anything with him in, watch it, he makes anything good!
-Merlin- I am just starting to get into this, a very nice adaptation of King Arthur's Tales
-Dr Who- I am not into it, but EVERYONE else loves it!
I have heard that BBC America also plays our Channel 4 programmes as well, so you might come up with those too. A lot of really good programmes there too.
Hope this helps!
