Disney Holiday 2014

Same here, done many trips under 10 nights, just got back last month from a 9 night trip, we do anything 7 nights or more, whatever we can fit in.

Hi wayneg,
Sorry about that, yeah we are looking at a Disney cruise from Barcelona, they look amazing. I think we will seriously have to try one. Anything Disney is brilliant in my opinion no matter what your age. :-)

Sorry about that, didn't mean to upset anyone, I've never been for less than 14 days, when we go, we have trouble fitting everything into 2 weeks, there's so much to do.

Don't worry, no offence taken. :goodvibes
If you stick around on the boards you will come to learn there is no right or wrong way to do a trip to Florida. We all enjoy different things.
Some people will only go direct and no less than 2 weeks, we just did indirect with 2 stops each way for 9 nights.
Some will only stay onsite, we enjoy both just as much.
The best thing is Florida caters for all of us, however we want to do it.:thumbsup2

Another vote for OKW. We stayed there in 2010, 2012 and will be there again next year. We usually have a studio which is more than big enough for three of us.

On both our previous stays,w e have had a studio near to the Turtle Shack pool, useful as it has laundry facilities by the pool so you can have a swim whilst waiting for the laundry to finish, plus a snack bar so you can use your dining/snack credits whilst catching some sun.

On all occasions, free DDP was on offer for us!!! What we have tended to do is use the Table Service (TS) credits for a couple of character lunches and booked a couple of signature meals of dinner shows (2 TS credits). This has meant we have a few days where we don;t have to worry about making a reservation, useful if you are planning a day away from Disney (we usually get to Clearwater beach for a day, and maybe to Seaworld for a day).

We have also found that myself and DW can often make do with one Counter Service (CS) meal plus a snack between us at lunchtime, which has meant that we have "spare" CS credits for those days we are off-site and we can have either breakfast or a later dinner at one of the Counter Service locations - we like Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney for breakfast/dinner.

Were going in November next year so will be able to watch the Christmas parades and get to go to Mickeys Christmas party :-) been for Halloween before but never Christmas, looking forward to seeing my daughter's face with it being her first time...

Hi, we stayed at OKW in Oct/Nov 2012 and LOVED it. Our youngest daughter was 5 at the time. We went to the MVMCP and really enjoyed getting into the Christmas spirit. I did a trip report (link in my signature) if you would like to look at the restaurants we chose and the things we did.:)

What???? Of course my way is the ONLY way to do it!! If you don't follow my way to the letter then you are all daft!! Why, just knowing that other people that I have never met are not doing what I have suggested on the internet will RUIN my entire holiday!

(sorry, had an attack of acute forumitis there)

Wayneg speaks the truth of course!

Enjoy your trip OP pixiedust:
