Disney guest crashes golf cart, jumps into Bay Lake

These golf carts are a danger to society. Reminds of my trip to FW in 1999. My brother and I were walking to the shop in the middle of the resort to get stuff go fishing. A guy pulled up asked us if we wanted a ride, did not think too much about accepting a ride from a stranger in a golf cart, two of us one of him and easy to run. I jumped in the passenger’s seat, my brother got on the back and we took off directly towards a bus. The guy did not slow down, then at the last minute swerved and went up on the side walk. We got back on the road and that is when I noticed the beer in the drink holder and his slurred speech when discussing where we were from. Then we swerved again (for no apparent reason) and almost went into some water, ( I can’t remember if it was a canal or swamp after 15 years). At that point I decided my brother and I had reached our destination with the golf cart and walked the rest of the way.

So the lesson learned here is that golf carts are a danger to society... not the idiots who are dumb enough to drive them while drinking? Got it.
