Hi,

Can you use Disney gift cards at a good neighbor hotel to pay for the rooms? If so would the Candy Cane Inn be one? TIA.

Not 100% positive, but 98% positive that answer will be a no. I would imagine each hotel chain would only take their own gift cards.

I concur with pblack that it's highly unlikely that any of the good neighbor hotels/motels would accept Disney Gift Cards. I would call the specific motels/hotels you're looking into just in case, but be prepared to be told no.

I agree that the hotels would not directly accept Disney Gift Cards. However, if you booked the Good Neighbor hotel through Disney as part of package, then you could pay with Disney Gift Cards. I'm not sure this would be enough reason to book a package as it's often not the best deal, though.

Noticed that the other day. I knew the price for tickets and the price at a good neighbor hotel. Looking at booking them through the Disneyland website and it was over $300 more than booking separately. Crazy.
