Hi all. I am hoping someone can help me. On my first trip to WDW, back in Oct of 2000, I bought 4 glasses with Mickey ears etched on them while shopping in DTD. They are tall glasses, holding at a can of soda with room to spare. I always wished I bought more but since I was single at the time, I figured 4 was enough.

Fast forward to Oct 2004. Back in WDW for my Honeymoon. I went back to DTD and they didn't have the same glassware. They only had martini glasses with the Mickey ears etched. I asked a CM but she looked at me like I had a top hat with Mickey ears on them on my head (oh wait; I did have that on :) )

Does anyone know either a) is this glassware sold anywhere or can be found anywhere? I have tried Ebay but no luck. And b) does Disney "rotate" their products? Could these glasses be sold at a different time? My DW and I are going to DL in a few weeks and I plan on looking and I have friends that are going to WDW in Sept and plan on asking them to also look.

Thanks for the help!

There is a great free standing shop in World Show Case right in front of the boat dock, Call disney merchandising maybe they can help. I will be there next month, if you are still on the hunt, PM me more details (maybe a photo) and I'll check out the shop (maybe even get the etched plates I eyed up last trip!)

Thanks for the offer. I was thinking of trying to post a pic here. Maybe I will give it a whirl when I get home from work today. Was in NYC over the weekend and stopped by the World of Disney store. They had the same glassware that was at WDW last Oct: beer and martini glasses. When I am in DL in two weeks I will also take a look and hope I get lucky. If I get the pic thing down, I will send you one. Thanks again!!

At first I thought you were talking about the pilsner glasses, but I guess not. My honest opinion is you are probably "sol." Join the club! I bought the matching s & p shakers from the catalog awhile back and can't find them to save my life (one broke when I moved here, along with one of the matching glass canisters I had). Try looking when you go to DL, as a last resort.

BTW: the home store in DTD closed in January, but they opened "Mickey's Pantry" in late April, and that has most of the kitchen stuff that they had in the home store. This new shop is next to Earl of Sandwich.

Good luck on your quest.
