Disney Gives Us the Warm Fuzzies - Take Two. TRIP REPORT HAS BEGUN! 1/20 Pg. 92

Love the packing update, Jen! I am glad to see I'm not the only one who takes lots of stuff. I, too, bring my own hair dryer. It's silly, but I have the wettest hair ever. It holds water like a camel in the dessert, and those resort dryers just don't do it for me.

I'm so ready! I feel like all my stress has gone away and I'm ready to vacation!

Finally all caught up! So the new pants are the travel pants? Are you taking laundry detergent? I know random questions....

Yes, new pants are the travel pants. They are very comfy. I'm so ready to go!!

So I finally bit the bullet and decided to drag the suitcase out of the garage and start packing tonight....

Of course not before a stop at Old Navy at the mall

So about 3 loads of laundry later I was ready to embark upon the adventure I like to call packing!! Now I will be the first one to admit to you I do not back light. According to my list I'm bringing 56 items of clothing and I added more as I was packing so who knows what the count is now. However a girl scout I might not have been but I do believe in being prepared for all things.

So let's begin with the empty suitcase

About 30 minutes and two trips to laundry room later...

I also packed the red duffle bag of toiletries, shoes, gifts and hair products. I still have to figure out where in there I am going to put my hair dryer...even though yes I know they have one there at the resort I like the flexibility of blow drying my hair away from the sink if need be.

Then because she was feeling left out MP wanted her picture taken...

She too is about packed and ready to go! Have to put the camera bag in her but after that she is READY!!! WOOT!!

Finally...another project was completed today but I can't really tell you anything about it...however I can tell you it is for Leslie and it looks like this...

You will all have to wait until later to find out what is inside, but I am very happy with how it turned out WOOT!!!!

Alright well I'm exhausted and ready for bed! Tomorrow is mani/pedi day and cleaning the house! Can't leave it a disaster for Prince P! I have to finish entering grades into the computer at school and sharpen pencils for our exams. Hope you all have a great evening!

Look at all of that STUFF. I told you I was bringing my hair dryer, you are more than welcome to use it. I don't think we need three hair dryers in one room for two people.

I can believe it! I have no idea how I'm going to get through work today and tomorrow!

Yep. You got it. The one time we had to get bags it was super slick. Elevator to floor 2, grabbed bags, then down one more floor and we were at ME. Took about 2 extra minutes.

I'm glad that luggage pick up is easy. I'm trying not to stress over it too much.

Relaxing...hmm this word sounds vaguely familar and yet so foreign to me...what is this relaxing you mention???? LOL No time to do that yet, I'm hoping all will be done tomorrow so I can relax Wednesday night!!!

I finally feel more relaxed at this point I don't care if I've forgotten to pack anything, I'm just ready to be immersed in the Disney magic.

BBQ Chicken Flatbread from Jiko.

With apple-jicama slaw, African barbecue sauce, and four cheeses.

I think this is thing that I am most looking forward to at Jiko.

Doesn't that look fabu!! I can't wait to try it!!! Now..Jiko brings me to my greatest dilemna...I have heard great things about their filet there. I really want to get a steak at some point on this trip...so I'm thinking here...but I don't know....Leslie will you share with me????????

Yes, I will share the steak with you. I think this is the place you should get steak. I've heard wonderful things about it.

Yes! It does have a wine reduction along with mac and cheese. Mmmmm. I really don't know how much of it I'd be able to eat but I'd be more than willing to try.

Oh, gosh, I think that should be fine. On a fluke, we ended up at Citrico's on our last trip and I'm ashamed to tell you what we were wearing.
