Disney Gives Us the Warm Fuzzies - Take Two. TRIP REPORT HAS BEGUN! 1/20 Pg. 92

Hmmm...I'm going to have to look up cuddle duds...I always learn something new here...:lmao:

Hummus= yummy and healthy goodness...:thumbsup2

Chocolate Cheesecake with chocolate ganache, amarula sauce, and lavender ice cream= Bliss...:cloud9:

Just thinking if it's cold outside you might want some, especially for your legs. They are very lightweight!
You are planning on layers, remember? You will be outside!!!!
I don't know why you wouldn't be able to do online check in at Saratoga. You have your conformation number. I'd give it a try.

I really hope you will enjoy Jiko! I loved it there! Even though it was pretty crowded, it had such a wonderful relaxed feeling to it! :goodvibes

I am not sure the chocolate cheesecake would be my choice (I prefer fruit in my desserts). But if you think about ordering an adult beverage, I can really recommend those at Jiko! They were even served with their individual cocktail shaker. I have a picture somewhere...

Here it is:

It's from my 2008 Jiko review in case you want to read more about that meal: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=30589736&postcount=87

Just checking in and catching up. Looks like I made it just in time for all of the immediate pre-trip chaos. :laughing:

I have no idea what I am going to order but I know it's going to be good! I think I'll just have a bite of whatever you choose that day because I'm just getting full thinking about all of the food we have planned LOL!

***************************************
In Two Weeks...

Sadly, in two weeks we'll be going home. :sad2: This is quite sad I have to agree!!! I will hate having to say goodbye to you and to Disney!!!

My flight departs at 8AM so it will be a very early morning going to the airport. Boo!
OR DOES IT.....MMUUUUAAHHHHHHHH (I also like to include a little evil laugh whenever I can !)

Well guess what.....we've made some changes ( I know big shock coming from us) well apparently the perfect itinerary turned out to be not so perfect because last night as I sat on my bedroom floor hoping my cell phone battery wouldn't die Leslie and I threw Itinerary (#25ish??) out the window. Not quite sure why, not sure we needed a reason, but we loved doing it!!!

So it all started when I decided that after dropping Leslie off at the airport that morning I would head back and spend a few more hours at Magic Kingdom. Leslie wasn't very thrilled with me driving all the way to the airport and back so we discussed her taking ME instead or.....a later flight...want to guess which one won??? That's right that day Leslie will be taking the 3:15pm flight home so that gives us some morning time at MK...because it seems to be my tradition to always end by saying goodbye to my beloved Haunted Mansion (which Leslie might have made some horrible joke about us not riding that morning....yeah right!!) and Cinderella's Castle. Now that would be exciting changes enough but we didn't stop there...oh no...we decided to switch some of our park days around. So what did we switch...

Well instead of going to Animal Kingdom and DTD on Saturday we will go Monday now and be in EPCOT on Saturday. This plan works out so much better for us for a couple of reasons...

1) Spending the whole day at EPCOT after PM EMH at MK, trying to make EMH AM at EPCOT didn't sound like too much fun. So now we can spend more time at MK in the evening on Sunday and get more rest and head to AK Monday morning when we feel like it.

2) EPCOT on MLK DAY along with it being EMH seemed like a crowd magnet, so now we'll go on Saturday and still get all the EPCOT time we want and hopefully less crowds.

So what about our ADRs well its all taken care of!! There are a few switches...in times not places! Instead of dinner at Rose & Crown and lunch at Marrakesh, we swapped those. Yak and Yeti plus Jiko have also been reserved for Monday and Jiko is a bit earlier which will give us time when we are done eating to go explore DTD before heading back to SSR!!

I have to agree with Leslie on this one (although no more changes LOL) these changes were definitely for the best and I think we now have the perfect itinerary...knock on wood!!!!!

I really want a treat from this bakery, too!! I think sharing food is really the way to go! The friends I travelled with in the past wasn't really into snacking and sharing things, but I know my sister will be as well! So I really hope to get to try many different things. :goodvibes

The new plan sounds wonderful! I absolutely agree that it makes more sense to swap these two parks! You really don't want to wear yourself out! And an additional morning at MK sounds wonderful!! :woohoo: Much better than getting ME at 5 am!! :scared1:

Single digits already? It feels so soon. How exciting! :banana:

Nice to hear that you managed to switch all your ADRs to the right day. As I was reading it, I was wondering if it would all work out, and I was glad to see that it did.

Congratulations on Single digit dancing! :cool1::woohoo::yay::dance3: And kudos on the later flight. 8am flight - boo :sad2: 3pm flight - :cool1: And if you are like Denny and I, you will wait the very last possible minute to leave for the airport!

Yay SINGLE DIGITS!!!!
:dance3::banana::dance3::banana::dance3::banana: :dance3:

I'll finish reading your update after work. Maybe I should just read your update to the class when they return from music :laughing:

I really can't keep up with all the this and thats and flips and flops, but boy do I know you are both going to have a fabulous time!!!!

YAY for single digits!! OH BOY!!! :yay:

I always love a good single digit dance (especially when it's mine).

:banana::banana::banana::yay::banana::banana:party::jumping1::jumping3::bounce::mickeyjum

Great job on the rearranging - I can't believe it worked out so well with the restaurants!!
Might I recommend the chocolate croissants at Starring Rolls? I enjoyed mine immensely!

Yay single digits!!!!! :banana: :cool1: I can't believe how close you are! As soon as I read that, I remembered my dad last year (starting when we were in single digits), routinely belting out to the tune of the Subway commercials, "NINE...NINE...NINE DAYS TILL FLORIDA!"

I'm so glad you changed your plans and your ADRs for the better. Your plans sound awesome and I'm so excited for you guys!

I'm seriously going to come back to the food countdown before we leave so I can make a list of the CS things I want to try. The pictures from the Starring Rolls Bakery (JUST noticed that little play on words -- that is what my family calls a "Meghan moment"), cemented my decision to make a lengthy list of places I want to try. :thumbsup2

Yummmmmy! I've built in snack meals at the parks for us, and I believe Starring Rolls is def on the list for DHS!

Hooray for single digits!! :banana: :banana::dance3::dance3::woohoo::woohoo:

And last but not least...wooohooo for later flights! You girls are going to have such a blast!!

Woooo hooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Single digit dancing!!!!

So exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your new tweaked plans make total sense!! Don't ya just love when you get an idea that makes it all click into place even better!!?? :thumbsup2

We're so close!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

:hyper::jumping1::hyper::jumping1::hyper:

:yay:Woo hoo for single digit dancing! AND for a later flight! :yay:

Ohhhh YUM! I always make a stop at Starring Rolls if I am at HS for rope drop. I usually have a bagel...my niece who is young and can eat anything, all day had a bagel and that banana split parfait. OMG I almost stabbed her with my spork! It was soooooooo good.
