Disney Gives Us the Warm Fuzzies - Take Two. TRIP REPORT HAS BEGUN! 1/20 Pg. 92

Hmmmm breakfast pizza...I have never had it! :lmao: Something about all those ingredients together...just can't do it! :confused3
4 parks in 1 day! Yes! Do it! It is a lot of moving around but fun! :thumbsup2 Then you can buy the 4 parks one world CD. :lmao:

That butterfinger cupcake looks so good too...it was a toss up between that and the banana split parfait. Should have had both! :goodvibes

LL,

As your DIS doctor, I do not recommend 4 parks/1 day if your knee and/or feet seem to be acting up. I've done 3 parks and a water park in one day and it is exhausting.

I will leave it to your own discretion.;)

You girls are hilarious! I am caught up and can't wait to hear more! Looking forward to your TR too! Thanks for making me happy today and letting me in on some Disney Joy! :goodvibes

Speaking from experince, the breakfast pizza is :thumbsup2 yum yum yummy!

I love my cuddle duds. I always wear them under my jeans when we go sledding and my legs never get cold. Totally lightweight so if you want to take them off in the middle of the day, they will take up hardly any room in the mary Poppins bag ;)

I have never heard of cuddleduds. Going to have to investigate these. I saw on allears today that the luau at the Poly was canceled today b/c of the temps. :scared1:

4 parks/1 day sounds great. But I agree with your DIS Dr. Jordan, don't overd on that knee/foot. You need to be in tip top shape for the rest of the trip! I am always overzealous and over-do it on day one.

Breakfast pizza- never tried it but I whenever I see the picture, I think I should remedy that. Hope you get to try it!

Yay for single digits!
WOO HOO!

After Jen's picture of the bleak cold while watching Spectro, I bet LL has cuddle duds by the end of the week! :lmao:

Mmmm, breakfast pizza! I don't think I realized Wolfgang Puck Express served breakfast. Wish they delivered to Georgia. :rotfl:
I told Marc I thought I should buy some cuddle duds and he scoffed at me. He doesn't think I will need them. I don't know. I'm freaking out now about what to pack. Oy!

I have no idea whether Soarin stays open or not hon, but that pizza does look yummy! I've seen a pic of it somewhere before, but it escapes me where it was...lol.

I like the four parks in a day idea! I think you'd have a blast, just be sure to get a pic of yourself at each one..you could even do the same pose, but fake looking more and more tired the later it gets, lol. That might be too crazy for you though!
OOoh, that is a really great idea for a picture in each park! :rotfl2:

I like your 4 parks/1 day idea. Would you pick your favorite attraction in each park to visit?
I think I would pick an attraction or two in each park.

Yes Yes and I thank you for that idea...but you remember I speak from experience I talked to people who were from your neck of the woods while I waited for Spectro and Wishes last year and I'm telling you they were just as bundled up as I was and you know what a pansy I am LOL. Although I think I'll take cold over hot any day at Disney LOL!

And Soarin' is one of the attractions that stays open until 9pm so you shouldn't have an issue riding that!
You have me so freaked out, I wasn't freaking about the weather because I can't do anything to change it but now I am freaking over what to pack. Oy to the Vey!

I think it is a cool idea, but I think I would also be afraid to spend too much time in transport...

I think it depends on which attractions you want to ride at each park on where you need to start. :scratchin If you don't want to wait for ages for Soarin, I would start in Epcot, I think this and TSM get the longest lines. But if it is a Fantasmic day, it would be even better to start at DHS...

So what about this: DHS at rope drop, take boat over to Epcot, enter through IG (I think there is also a bus to the front entrance of Epcot. There is definitely one to the TTC and you could take the monorail from there), if things work out you might be able to get a FP for Soarin with a time not too far away, get some lunch and check out the Seas and Spaceship Earth, then go on Soarin, exit Epcot at the front, take bus to AK, then from there either take bus to TTC to bet ferry or monorail to MK (depending on how you got to Epcot, you would be able to incorporate all methods of transportation in your day as well) or take the bus to the Contemporary and walk from there.

If you want to do Epcot in the evening, don't worry. A lot of Futureworld attractions are open until 9pm, including Soarin. :thumbsup2 I think the others that are open are Mission Space, Spaceship Earth and Test Track.
I think you forgot about AK.... Hehehe. Those are all good valid points but according to Tour Guide Mike Disney has cut some shows so the 13th no longer has Fantasmic so I could end in DHS if I wanted. Which is what I was leaning towards. MK then AK the Epcot then DHS....hmmm.

All caught up! Your new plans sound really good - more time in Disney is always a good thing! :thumbsup2 I can't believe you are single-digit dancing, ONE WEEK!!! :yay::yay::yay:

No worries on not being able to update here, real life sometimes does that to us, and with the addition of all the to-do's for a trip...:faint:

I need to recommend the Butterfinger Cupcake here. It's HUGE and oh so very good. Joe, Henry and I split one and still threw a good chunk of it away.

Henry wants to share a smiley (or two): :banana:popcorn:: "nana guy" and "corn guy" popcorn:: "two corn guy"
Oh. My. Yum. :cloud9:
Hi Henry!! You are such a cutie!

Four parks in one day sounds like fun!! Go for it!! Do it now, because it definitely isn't something you will want to try with young kids.
Of course not, way too much to do in one day with the little ones.

Getting CLOSER.... :yay:

YAY!!!
:banana::banana::banana:

So tomorrow, you'll be able to start playing/saying "this time next week"! I am SO excited for you!

I think 4 parks in 1 day sounds awesome. Go for it :thumbsup2
I can actually start it right NOW.

One week from this very moment I will be squished on the plane, probably reading my book and looking at the time 50 million times to see if it almost time to land yet.

Cuddle duds - get them!!! you won't regret it!!

4 parks, one day - do it!
Do it!
Do it!
Do it!
Do it!

What rides/attractions would you do at each park?

And oh - I could go for one of those breakfast pizza right now!!
I might have to break down and get some cuddle duds. I haven't quite decided on which attractions I would do...what do you think?

I already have the 4 parks one world cd but that is a good thought. :rotfl2:

You are so right, DIS Doctor. I don't think I would do it if I wasn't feeling up to it. I will see how I feel that day. If I take an apple a day will that prevent blisters? ;)

Thanks for joining in!! :goodvibes Welcome to our craziness.

That is a good plus for those cuddle duds. I also think I might be bringing my backpack too...even though I was going to leave it at home. I feel like everything has been thrown in turmoil. Oy!

I have never heard of cuddleduds. Going to have to investigate these. I saw on allears today that the luau at the Poly was canceled today b/c of the temps. :scared1:

I think the luau was canceled last year around this time for extreme cold temps.

I don't want to overdue it on the first day, it's a very valid point. I don't plan to trek all over each park though so maybe it wouldn't be too bad...? Who knows. I'm going to play it by ear.

I even get excited over that :rotfl:

That was a GREAT reminder for me to get my watch battery replaced...I need do that asap. I actually freaked out earlier because I realized we're just 35 days out and I need to get my dog re-vaccinated for kennel cough before I can board him (and actually schedule the boarding), and get the form saying he's had all the necessary vaccines...out of all the things that should make the trip seem close, like getting the ME tags, for some reason it is the getting everything squared away with my dog that makes the trip seem really, REALLY close. I'm kind of feeling like a cross between the screaming blue-haired guy and the banana right now :rotfl2:

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

You are the epitome of flexible so I expect you'll know your limits and adjust according to how you are feeling at any given moment.

I get what you are saying about getting the dog squared away. It does make vacation seem closer!

I'm going to try. You know what is funny? If you asked my family if I was flexible they would laugh in your face. :rolleyes1

So I caved.

I ordered long underwear. I may have also thrown in another fleece jacket in the order just to make sure I have enough layers.

Jen I am sending you the bill because I blame you for my panic. :lmao:

Marc actually scoffed at me when I told him I was thinking about buying some. :rotfl2:

They are slated to arrive on Jan. 11th. Talk about cutting it close.

I still haven't started packing. I'm ashamed of myself. I never wait this long! Working until 6PM this week is really throwing a wrench in my normal routine.

I was going to cancel my hair cut this weekend because of everything else I have to do but I just rescheduled it later on Saturday. I need a little pampering. I'm also going to squeeze in a pedicure so my feet will be in tip top shape for Blistergate 2010.

I still haven't found my battery charger. Oy.

That frantic screaming you'll hear this weekend? That will be me packing.

So let's talk about something fun, shall we?

What should I do in each park for my 4 Parks/1 Day Challenge?

I'm thinking at least one attraction in each park, I was also thinking about a picture to take as well in each park that you all decide. So throw out your suggestions and we can vote on them starting on Saturday. :thumbsup2

As far as attractions go...the tamer the better. I plan to get my thrills in when I'm with Jen so she can hold my hand.

Keep it in the package, if you don't use them you can return them when you get back!

Any luck on getting your knee looked at?

I need to noodle the 4 parks one day thing....

That pizza looks FABU!

You know, this week being so crazy I haven't even thought about calling the doctor. The rash is gone and my knee is feeling better. I haven't had to wear the brace for over a week. I'll still bring it just in case of course.

Ummm...No one told you to panic you did that all on your own so I will be ignoring the bill when it arrives!! LOL!!! My pairs of cuddleduds are in the wash right now!!!

I wish I could fit in a haircut I think I would feel a lot better about myself and my trip I just don't know when I could find the time to fit one in...hmmm I will have to think on that...maybe I can call and see if I can get an appointment sometime next week!!!! I will however be doing the pedicure before I leave maybe I will just make it an entire pampering evening that sounds nice!!!!

Well I did make it to Wally World Tonight and got a few things off my list! I bought about 10 pairs of handwarmers so that should be about enough. Wal-Mart had packs of 4 for 1.27 so I went a bit crazy but my hands will be warm oh yes they will be LOL!!! I might buy one more bag just in case! My microtek blanket should be here tomorrow and I will pack a nice jacket in case I need it along with my new hoodie! I'm bringing the old one too...can't be too overprepared is my motto LOL!!!!! I also bought some more bandaids and moleskin so I need to get that packed away!!!

Hmmm...I'm still not sure when I'm going to pack I'm sure I'll figure it out in the next week or so!!!!

Do you not remember all of the emails you sent me today freaking about the cold. THE PANIC HAS SPREAD TO ME! :scared1: So you will NOT be ignoring that bill. ;)

Marc mentioned hand warmers tonight but I'm thinking foot warmers might be better for me. Do they sell those too? You know we have issues, right? :rotfl2:

I wasn't freaking, I was venting there is a difference and besides I never asked you to share in my panic LOL!!!! You choose to panic so the bill is all yours LOL!!!!

I'm going to laugh when I'm stuck with 20 handwarmers I no longer need or will never use because the weather is going to turn around and be in the 80s the whole time LOL!!!

Well maybe you should you have told me that! Pfffft. ;)

Ladies...you are crackin me up!

LL, do you really want ME to give you picture suggestions?;)

I guess for me it would be all about soaking up the magic that each park has to offer:

MK: Philharmagic, It's a Small World, HM and POTC.
Epcot: Spaceship Earth and American Adventure
AK: Kilimanjaro Safari and/or EE
DHS: ToT, One Man's Dream, and either Voyage of the Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast.

Well maybe you should you have told me that! Pfffft. ;)

But...I'm confused...weren't you the one who told me I was freaking out...wouldn't logic dictate that you shouldn't have started to freak out on your own...LOL!! From now on when I freak you must be the pillar of logic and strength and vice versa LOL!

Yes! I want picture suggestions, your pictures are HILARIOUS.

Those are all really good suggestions minus ToT. I can't do that ride, I fear I will plunge to my death.
