Disney Gives Us the Warm Fuzzies - Take Two. TRIP REPORT HAS BEGUN! 1/20 Pg. 92

Good cranberry sauce...not the canned stuff...of course, I'll eat any cranberry sauce, coupled with some good gravy and stuffing....
I have to settle with the canned stuff. My grandmother used to make the BEST homemade cranberry sauce and no one can duplicate it since she passed away so we've all given up.

I need to get on their site and look around. Are you getting it?
Hmmm...perhaps. :rolleyes1

Hey, LL! Just wanted to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks! You too!!

Methinks I should be making a run for beverages for tomorrow's feast with the in-laws.

I am dreaming of pecan pie in my little neck of the woods.
Oh yes, you need beverages. Do you have an inlaw drink minimum/maximum too? ;)
Mmmmm pecan pie! :cloud9:

Happy Thanksgiving LL and Marc. Hope you have a great day. I am glad you are considering waking up in Disney on /saturday! ;)

Mmmmm pecan pie! :cloud9:

Nope, no drink maximum for me -- my SIL and I usually end up in the kitchen with our beverages of choice whispering like crazy about everyone else's craziness. She already texted me last night to say she hoped I was coming early. :lmao:

I LOVE pecan pie......:cloud9:

I will save you a piece, Jordan! :goodvibes

Happy Thanksgiving, LL and Marc!

Hi, hon! I'm late, but I'm here.

First off, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! I hope you and Marc have a nice day.

I love your new haircut, especially straightened. It looks super cute! And I can tell that you've lost weight, you must be so proud of yourself. You go girl!

I would agree with you on ordering the larger size in tees from Disney. I'm probably a smaller size than what I get, but I find the 100% cotton tees tend to shrink in the wash, and depending on the cut, you want allow for a little of that.

I've been to Disney in January. Hon, I would bring a jacket. I have one story for you. One year we went, and granted, this is sort of a fluke, but they had a frost.

I'm not joking.

A frost. And you would think being New Englanders we'd have been prepared? No way. It was so cold my mother had to buy sweatshirts for us (me, mom, my husband then fiance at the time) and we were still shivering waiting for the bus that night.

I know it's a pain in the tuckus, but honestly, bring the jacket. Bring gloves, bring a scarf. You never know. :thumbsup2

Wishing you and Marc a beautiful day ahead!
I was wondering if Marc is going to be able to eat any of the goodies yet. I hope he can eat enough to enjoy the day.

I can't remember if I told you this (my laptop/internet weren't getting along for a few days), but I LOVE your new haircut! It looks so good!

I've been to Disney in January and February. The times that we went in January, we went for the long MLK weekend, and we thought it was cold -- and we're from Massachusetts. I'd bring the scarf and gloves just to have. Even if you don't need them, you'll at least have them. I didn't bring a jacket with me, so I just went with layers, like a long-sleeved shirt (or two, or a t-shirt and long-sleeved shirt), and always had a hoodie.

I also hope that Marc can enjoy at least some of the goodies. I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving! :goodvibes

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Marc & I have decided to stay home and have our own little Thanksgiving and probably go to the movies this afternoon. I'd love for our plans today to become our regular tradition. I like the idea of having one holiday just for our little family. Instead of turkey we are having chicken. Marc will be able to eat with me so that is good. We had fun at the grocery store last night picking our sides. I know we bought way too much food but leftovers are half of the fun. :goodvibes

I LOVE pecan pie......:cloud9:
Mmmmm!

You guys are making me HUNGRY! :rotfl:

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
I know. Me too! Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving LL and Marc. Hope you have a great day. I am glad you are considering waking up in Disney on /saturday! ;)
Thanks MEK! You too.

Thanks CP! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. I'm so glad I'm missing the inlaw drama. :thumbsup2

Hey TK! I don't even own a winter jacket so I'll probably bring my hoodies and just layer up with the scarf and gloves. :thumbsup2

Yes, he can eat with me! WOO HOO!. He just has to be really careful with chewing his food really good still. :thumbsup2

Thanks. I haven't even tried to blow dry it straight since she cut it. Maybe I will today since I don't have to rush anywhere.

Thanks on the weather advice! I plan on layering up, I think that will work. Worst case, I have to buy a Disney hoodie! :rotfl2:

Happy Thanksgiving!! I took advantage of the Vera sale/retired pattern mark downs yesterday. My neighbor & I went in together to get free shipping - I bought a couple travel items for DH to give me for Christmas. :thumbsup2

Happy Thanksgiving LL! I hope you enjoyed your quiet day together. Did you end up going to the movies? Have you seen New Moon yet? DH and I saw it last week and I was wondering what you thought of it.

Oooh, what a good idea to get the free shipping!

We did have a very nice day together. Yes, I have seen New Moon...twice. Once with a friend from work and once with Marc.

We did go to the movies today and EVERYONE has to go see The Blind Side. It was an excellent movie. I hate to watch football but I love football movies...go figure. The movie actually inspired me to ask Marc to explain some things about football to me. It was such a heartwarming story. Seriously...GO SEE IT!

Thanks for your review of the movie. I think my roomies and I are going to see it tomorrow. It sounds so good.

I have a HUGE crush on Sandra Bullock.....

My mom wants to go see The Blind Side. It looks great! (Do you watch Friday Night Lights? It is a really good show!) I am glad you had a good day! Oh, and I enjoyed New Moon and I am already looking forward to Eclipse.

I love Sandra Bullock too. She does wonderful in this movie. I woke up this morning still thinking about the movie. I was really touched by it. :goodvibes

I don't watch Friday Night Lights but my parents do and they LOVE it.

*******************************************************
I'm having severe bag buying issues. I just can't decide if I want the Saddle Up or the Libby. The libby is almost half of what the Saddle Up purchase price is. It's smaller but in reality I just need to carry my camera, wallet and blister supplies. I like the fact that the Libby has a longer strap by 3 inches. Hmmmm. Hmmmm.

The dimensions are....

10¼" x 7¼" x 3¾" –53" adjustable strap - Libby

14" x 9¾" x 4" –50" adjustable strap - Saddle Up

What do you all think?

LL, it sounds like you had a lovely Thanksgiving. I have been hearing really good things about The Blind Side from everyone who has seen it. I hate football, but love football movies myself (Remember the Titans is one of my favorite movies EVER).

I should have given myself a drink limit yesterday...just saying...I forget what wine does to me. :rolleyes1

I'd go with the Libby -- I love the idea of traveling lighter. What pattern are you thinking of getting?

The Blind Side was excellent. Marc loved it too. It's rare that we both love a movie that much.

UH OH!! CP, what did you do? :rotfl2:

I'm really torn. I just don't know what to do. Maybe I should compare the mailbag or hipster dimensions with the libby so I can give myself a better visual.

UH OH!! CP, what did you do? :rotfl2:

I was just saying that I needed someone to cut me off when I managed to spill my glass of wine clear across the table. Oops. :rolleyes1 There's a reason I don't drink wine. It goes straight to my head.

That's a good idea. I bet the Libby is about the size of the hipster only lying on its side.

:rotfl2: I have totally done that before when drinking too much. :rotfl:

That's a good idea. I bet the Libby is about the size of the hipster only lying on its side.

Here are the dimensions of all four.

10¼" x 7¼" x 3¾" –53" adjustable strap - Libby

14" x 9¾" x 4" –50" adjustable strap - Saddle Up

10 ½" x 11" x 1 ¼" –53 ½" adjustable strap - Hipster

11" x 11½" x 1¾" –50" adjustable strap - Mailbag

Glad I am not the only one who has done embarrassing things like that before. ;)

Oh, now that I see the dimensions, I think the Libby is too small. Really and truly. The Hipster is pushing it on size for me at the best of times, and the Libby is even smaller than that.
