Disney Gives Us the Warm Fuzzies - Take Two. TRIP REPORT HAS BEGUN! 1/20 Pg. 92

Hi LL and Jen,
I haven't been on the DIS in ages but started to get all caught up and back into the swing of things over Christmas break. I didn't want to post until I got all caught up and I finally did tonight!:yay: So, I am popping in to wish you both a fantastic trip! You guys are going to have a blast! Woohoo for single digits-it's going to get here so fast now:thumbsup2

Love, love, love the changes. More time at WDW can only be a good thing.:goodvibes

You girls keep this up you will be changing your mailing addresses to WDW and taking up residence there!!

Yay for single digits! :dance3::yay::woohoo::cheer2:

I apologize for my absence this week. I have been so busy at work, it's crazy. I'm even working a different schedule than my normal one. Plus the brakes in Marc's truck went so he can't drive it until it gets fixed next week while I'm gone. So that means he's taking my car at night then rushing home so I can go to work. It's been crazy. Plus we have started looking for a new apartment when our lease is up on March 31st. I don't even think I'm going to have time to get my haircut this weekend. We have a wake and funeral to go to for Marc's Uncle who passed away on New Year's Day this weekend as well. We have to look at least one apartment before it gets snapped up, it sounds perfect so we are going to fit in after the funeral on Saturday. I will make time for my pedicure and packing. That is all I can guarantee. I'm trying to keep up with the comments but I apologize if it doesn't seem I'm around as much.

I NEED this vacation. :rolleyes1

Don't worry about your absence! It really sounds like life is too busy for you at the moment and not in a good way! Just get through those last few days and then you will be able to enjoy your vacation! :goodvibes We will all be here and will wait patiently for your TR afterwards, doesn't matter if we miss a few days of PTR excitement!

:banana::cool1::dance3::yay::woohoo:

Yippee for single digits!!!!! It's getting so close!

Your new changes make a lot of sense! A lot tweaking is always good!

I hate to say this but the cuddle duds are a good idea! Not to mention, I really like that name!! LOL!! Good job Wig'd!

It's going to be a wee bit chilly!!! DH keeps telling me not to worry because it will seem warm compared to the 20 degrees and with 40 mile per hour winds we've been having here!!!

Talk about perfect timing. The Disney Food Blog wrote about Starring Rolls today!

So unfair! :headache:

I am really enjoying Taking Liberties. It's a good thing I know the third book is about Phillipa, though, or I would be going crazy!
I will have to check out that link! The third book is really good too, I love how Phillipa turns out if you will.

You all are making me doubt my lack of cuddle duds! :rotfl2: Like your DH, I keep telling myself it will be better than the chilly weather up here in New England.

You'll laugh at me...we'll see who's laughing when I'm all warm and cozy watching Spectro and Wishes at 8pm in the cold with my cuddleduds, microfiber blanket and hand warmers while you shiver because with the wind it actually feels like 20 degrees outside YUP we'll see who's laughing THEN!!!

8 Days until Disney World Warm Fuzzies.

Breakfast Pizza from Wolfgang Puck Express.

I love breakfast pizza, it's so good and this one just looks exceptional!! :cloud9:

I have to agree!! This looks so yummy!! We'll have to figure out where we are going to fit this in!! WPE has been on the list for awhile to try in DTD!!!!

With our change of plans I don't know if we'll actually make it to DTD one of the mornings or not. If it doesn't, there is always next trip. ;)

I had some good news when I checked accuweather this morning....NO SNOW FOR THE DAY I LEAVE!! Yayayayaya!! Let's hope it stays that way.

I've been contemplating a little plan for my solo day before Jen arrives. A 4 Parks/1 Day type of thing. I'm not 100% sure I want to do that but I thought it might be a fun little challenge for me to do that and experience at least one ride or attraction in each park.

The Park Hours for Thursday are:
Magic Kingdom: EMH's 8 - 9AM, 9 - 8PM
Epcot: 9 - 7PM, 11 - 9PM
Hollywood Studios: 9 - 8PM
Animal Kingdom: 9 - 5PM

I think I would start at MK, then over to Animal Kingdom, from there to Hollywood Studios and then end at Epcot. It would probably be an exhausting day but right now it sounds like fun. I think I'd spend more time at Magic Kingdom than any other park so I don't know if I should go there first or last. I like getting that extra hour in the morning but I don't know. My other question is about Soarin....do they keep that ride open until 9PM when World Showcase closes or would I have to make sure to be in line before 7? Any thoughts? Any advice?

Yeah, Yeah. You all are giving me a cold weather complex now! Oy! And just remember the microfiber blanket was MY idea. :rotfl2:

After Jen's picture of the bleak cold while watching Spectro, I bet LL has cuddle duds by the end of the week! :lmao:

Mmmm, breakfast pizza! I don't think I realized Wolfgang Puck Express served breakfast. Wish they delivered to Georgia. :rotfl:

I have no idea whether Soarin stays open or not hon, but that pizza does look yummy! I've seen a pic of it somewhere before, but it escapes me where it was...lol.

I like the four parks in a day idea! I think you'd have a blast, just be sure to get a pic of yourself at each one..you could even do the same pose, but fake looking more and more tired the later it gets, lol. That might be too crazy for you though!

I like your 4 parks/1 day idea. Would you pick your favorite attraction in each park to visit?

Yeah, Yeah. You all are giving me a cold weather complex now! Oy! And just remember the microfiber blanket was MY idea. :rotfl2:

Yes Yes and I thank you for that idea...but you remember I speak from experience I talked to people who were from your neck of the woods while I waited for Spectro and Wishes last year and I'm telling you they were just as bundled up as I was and you know what a pansy I am LOL. Although I think I'll take cold over hot any day at Disney LOL!

And Soarin' is one of the attractions that stays open until 9pm so you shouldn't have an issue riding that!

I think it is a cool idea, but I think I would also be afraid to spend too much time in transport...

I think it depends on which attractions you want to ride at each park on where you need to start. :scratchin If you don't want to wait for ages for Soarin, I would start in Epcot, I think this and TSM get the longest lines. But if it is a Fantasmic day, it would be even better to start at DHS...

So what about this: DHS at rope drop, take boat over to Epcot, enter through IG (I think there is also a bus to the front entrance of Epcot. There is definitely one to the TTC and you could take the monorail from there), if things work out you might be able to get a FP for Soarin with a time not too far away, get some lunch and check out the Seas and Spaceship Earth, then go on Soarin, exit Epcot at the front, take bus to AK, then from there either take bus to TTC to bet ferry or monorail to MK (depending on how you got to Epcot, you would be able to incorporate all methods of transportation in your day as well) or take the bus to the Contemporary and walk from there.

If you want to do Epcot in the evening, don't worry. A lot of Futureworld attractions are open until 9pm, including Soarin. :thumbsup2 I think the others that are open are Mission Space, Spaceship Earth and Test Track.

All caught up! Your new plans sound really good - more time in Disney is always a good thing! :thumbsup2 I can't believe you are single-digit dancing, ONE WEEK!!! :yay::yay::yay:

No worries on not being able to update here, real life sometimes does that to us, and with the addition of all the to-do's for a trip...:faint:

A Delicious Treat from Starring Rolls Bakery.
I have no idea what I am going to order but I know it's going to be good! I think I'll just have a bite of whatever you choose that day because I'm just getting full thinking about all of the food we have planned LOL!

I need to recommend the Butterfinger Cupcake here. It's HUGE and oh so very good. Joe, Henry and I split one and still threw a good chunk of it away.

Henry wants to share a smiley (or two): :banana:popcorn:: "nana guy" and "corn guy" popcorn:: "two corn guy"

Four parks in one day sounds like fun!! Go for it!! Do it now, because it definitely isn't something you will want to try with young kids.

So tomorrow, you'll be able to start playing/saying "this time next week"! I am SO excited for you!

I think 4 parks in 1 day sounds awesome. Go for it :thumbsup2

Cuddle duds - get them!!! you won't regret it!!

4 parks, one day - do it!
Do it!
