Restaurant Marrakesh is fun...I had a birthday dinner there some years ago...it was lovely inside...you'll have plenty of beautiful light fixtures to keep you very busy and the food was quite tasty...

Only about half my gang would go for it so I can't wait to read about and and YAY for SSR and points! Very cool. What a change from your original trip

Marc is a bit miffed at me because he wanted to go there on our last trip and I wouldn't agree. My food tastes have changed a lot since I've been doing this diet so I'm more willing to give it a go this time. I had to promise to let him go either to Marrakesh or Tutto next time we go together.

Ooo! Morocco is a great restaurant. They've got some grest food there too.

And an upgrade to Saratoga Springs? How fantastic.

The food looks really yummy and I've read a few reviews and it seems to get pretty good reviews.

I honestly thought Floss was going to get it, she was on the right track for sure.

I was thinking about Marrakesh a few times, but then I always thought that it wouldn't be the type of food you seem to like! So when you explained how your food taste changed since you are doing your diet, it really made sense to me. Actually I think there is no reason to be afraid of Marrakesh. They might use a few not so common spices, but mainly the menu appears to be meat vegetables and rice. I think - without ever haven eaten there, but with some knowledge of Northern African cuisine, the Shish Kebab might be your safest bet!

I'm here celebrating quietly with MeMom too! I have a kid with a bacterial respiratory infection and students with strep throat, so I'm taking myself to the doctor. I think all I have is a sinus infection, but I'm not taking any chances!!!

Jen & I have decided to do a 30 Day countdown until Disney.

Techinically, we are counting down until the 14th of January since that is the day that we will both be in Disney.

It just so happens that I've added another night to my trip. I have severe Add-on-itis. I had the most wonderful dream Saturday night about adding a night on to the trip and having a delightful day in Magic Kingdom on Thursday January 14th. So I had to investigate naturally. I told myself that if POFQ wasn't available for the night of the 13th that I would forget about it.

Well, you all know what happened right? It was available and for the discounted price too! So I did some calculating and showed the new figures to Marc, batted my eyelashes a few times, promised to let him buy a new stereo and booked the night!

So I'm arriving Wednesday January 13th after work and leaving Tuesday January 19th. My cheap-o three night trip has turned into six nights. It's still pretty cheap-o though so we'll go with it.

So technically this 30 Day Countdown is counting down until I see Jen again. I'm okay with that!

We are doing a different kind of countdown. We're going to be counting down the days by showing all the food we want to eat!

It seems totally counter productive since I've had weight loss surgery but we're going to go with it. I was thinking that...you with your surgery and me on Weight Watchers...and yet here we are doing a food countdown!! No matter, we just have to plan out our food choices better, that's why we are focusing on food.

Strawberry Cheesecake from Hollywood Brown Derby.

This was hands down the best dessert I've ever had at Disney. I had a bite and I have to tell you this was an amazing dessert!! VERY YUMMY!!! I can't wait to have it again. I hope I can convince Jen to share it with me and forego her beloved Creme Brulee. LOL...I don't know, you know me and my creme brulee...I have to get it somewhere on this trip if I'm even going to consider giving it up at Brown Derby

I am totally not surprised that you had a lovely dream about adding another day. I'm glad it worked out for you.

I've never had the strawberry cheesecake at the Derby. I'm more of a grapefruit cake girl myself, but that picture is making me a little hungry! (The pregnancy hormones don't help either.) I'm sure I'm going to really enjoy the next 30 days of food!
