Yes, I believe it is a Fir of some kind. Sully doesn't really go around it. I don't think Ruby remembers the real tree we had two years ago when she was just a kitten so she is very curious. But she mainly just sits under it and looks up into the branches.
I love Christmas, I really do. I get very into it right after Thanksgiving. Thanks on noticing the difference. I've had a rough week so I've been doubting myself.

I really love the size too. I am not a fan of gigantic trees. Marc was teasing me yesterday because I like the misfit trees, I fear that no one else will pick them so I want them. He wanted the one we got though and I have to say it is perfect.
Thank you so much! She is loving the tree so far. I just fear that she will try to climb it. We used fishing line two years ago to anchor the tree to the wall but Marc doesn't think we need too. Your decorations sound awesome! Sully kitty doesn't like change either, he starts meowing like crazy but I think this year he was more interested in the smell of the Christmas tree and of course trying to escape out the door when we were bringing it in.You are Marc are looking great!

I'm loving all the Christmas decorations, and I'm pretty doggone excited about a cookie party that I'm not even going to be at, too.
I started playing Christmas music very softly in the background for the students yesterday as they did their morning work. They were so cute singing along.
I’ve also really been craving Casey’s corn dog nuggets. I haven’t had a hot dog since my surgery so I need to try that out at home to make sure it agrees with me before the trip. I have found one thing that doesn’t agree with me since surgery and that is Pork. I can eat pork that is shredded but not something like a pork chop. It’s weird. I’m a little nervous about eating on vacation. Heck, I still get a little nervous when I just go out to a restaurant. I just have to remember to chew really well and eat slowly. Jen, you will have to help remind me. Okey dokey...and you have to remind me to drink lots of water LOL!!!!!! NO SODA!! I can't have soda either so that will be easy! I refuse to make myself sick in Disney! The plus side is that the sick feeling usually doesn’t last too long, it’s just very inconvenient. I agree no being sick at Disney!!! That is no fun!!!

Your plans for your MK day look good. I, too, can't believe you haven't been to the GF before. The restrooms even have nicer toilet paper.
I think the key to making it to the end of the EMH at MK is taking a break back at Pop which I see you have scheduled. I know it's hard to lie down and take a nap, but try. (Do i sound like a parent?)
My friend, Kim, who I went to WDW with in 08, had similar surgery. There were definitely foods she couldn't eat and greasy food in general wasn't good. She got full faster, but we still managed to eat at great restaurants and it really didn't seem to affect her all that much. Sharing food and snacks is a great idea.
Usually I can nap pretty easily so I don't think it will be too big of a problem. I just worry about waking up the next morning.
