I have a Disney Visa so I'm going to head over to their site and see the deal...40% off would be fabulous!!
I got the 40% off. It included the holiday weekend unlike the AP rates. I got POFQ for under $100/night. Only problem is that you can't get DDP. Oh well. We'll pay for food OOP.
I have emailed our Travel Agent. WOO HOO! Jen I told her you had the AP and the Disney Visa and to price out BOTH Pop Century and Port Orleans. You know...just in case.
WOW Congrats that is a great deal!!!!! We aren't planning on doing the DDP so that might work for us!!
Do you have to put the room on your Disney Visa???? Not that that would be a problem just curious as Leslie has already put down a deposit so would the money she put down transfer over and then the rest go on my Visa???? Sorry to ask so many questions!!
Actually they will include the AP rate for the holiday weekend (or at least they did for me last year) just end up paying a bit more over that weekend for those dates...was 59.00 compared to 49.00 for 3 of the days out 7. We'll have to just see if that will work this year too!!!!
Guess its time to put our TA to work and see if she can make some magic happen for us!!
Thank you so much for the heads up!!
A 40% off code?! Holy temptation, DISers!![]()

I am sad about LTT especially since they are changing the menu too! ICK! I really wanted to try lunch there.LL & Jen - great ADR's and times. Bummer about LTT though. I have to say that after my Sept trip I am totally hooked on LTT for lunch. My sandwich was amazing, so this will definately be an OOP lunch on my next trip because I think Denny and I could easily share there and still walk away full!
OMG - I just posted some AA pictures and they don't look nearly as good as yours. I am SO getting a new camera for May. It is an absolute necessity!
I really want a dessert with the lavender ice cream. YUMMMMMY!Mom and I went to Jiko on our trip.I can't remember what appy I had but I can remember dessert....
lavendar ice cream. Sooooo yummy, I'm trying to talk DD into choosing this as one of our ADRs for her graduation trip.

Hey! Thanks for joining in!I'm here, I'm here! 52 pages already, wow!!! I need to catch up on your PTR, now that I've finished your last lovely trip report!![]()
I love that part of TTA! It is such a warm fuzzy!I love reading about all your warm fuzzies. I think my warm fuzzy is the feeling of the TTA pulling around that first curveI just find that ride so relaxing.
Your pictures of your trip to Concord are lovely. I want to visit a Mobile Tea Room! I'm jealous that Marc will go on trips like that with you, Jack hates leaving the couch. I've been trying to get him to drive with me to a museum that's literally 20 minutes from our house for weeks
ME TOO!Just knowing you have a trip coming up is so comforting.
And you have definitely convinced me to try a cream cheese pretzel next time!
I think we want a flatbread for sure. I think we each might get a different appetizer and then share. Yum Yum!! I really want to try that lavender ice cream!!If you are going to Jiko for apps and desserts I had them too along with my entree!!!I had the olive and goat cheese (and other cheeses) flatbread. Sooooo good but you really have to like black olives (I do!!) My niece had the mussels and they were really good too....I never order them because we have mussels in our lake and I know they aren't the same thing but they sure look like it! They were really good though and I ate quite a few.
For dessert I had the pistachio creme brulee and that was amazing, niece had the chocolate cheesecake (which wasn't a cheesecake but a very dense chocolate dream) with lavender ice cream. YUM!!
Tracy
WOO HOO!!Do either you or Jen have the Disney Visa???? 40% off code for your dates just came out!!!
Hi Leslie.Beautiful ADRs and good thoughts re: a fall trip vs. a longer trip this time. I always enjoy looking at your pictures, even though I can't guess a single one.

I think paying OOP for food is going to work better for us.I got the 40% off. It included the holiday weekend unlike the AP rates. I got POFQ for under $100/night. Only problem is that you can't get DDP. Oh well. We'll pay for food OOP.
Oh, the magic is being worked on!WOW Congrats that is a great deal!!!!! We aren't planning on doing the DDP so that might work for us!!

Oh yes, me too. Planning chatter is the best!I love all the planning chatter. Dreaming of trips to come is so much fun!
Hope you guys get everything you want for a great price.
We're taking off this evening. Trent will be putting pictures on Facebook, if you want to follow along. Have a good weekend!
Come on C! You know you want to come to Disney and play with us!! Please, Please, Please!!A 40% off code?! Holy temptation, DISers!![]()
You are a wealth of information today!!You did have to at least make your deposit with your Disney Visa....so I guess they would refund LL's and put the new deposit on yours.
The AP rates do not include Friday or Sat of the holiday weekend this year....they are blackout dates. They also aren't including President's Day weekend. You can pay rack rate for those dates if you want!
40% off code is only good at Mods and Deluxes btw.
The more the merrier!! Come on down!!!I was thinking the SAME thing!!!!![]()
I think they are just bringing back the characters only while Crystal Palace is closed. They are also doing the family style food instead of their menu. I don't think I like that. I am never going to get to eat my tavern fried cheese!!Your ADRs look great! Very interesting about LTT being completely booked in January! I do hope they bring the characters back to LTT for January and then realize what a silly mistake it was and keep them!! I would love to do LTT on a future trip with the characters.
And, I smell a change coming up....![]()
Those are some good lookin' discounted rates!!!
Yayayaya!! Let's do it, C!!Okay Lady...the dates you need to call and book are 1/13 through 1/19 at least that is when I'll be there LOL!!!! GO DO IT!!! I am fully and freely enabling you to make this decision!!!!
You will just have to wait and see!! Trust me, it's been an interesting morning with all the back and forth between Jen & I and then the TA & I.Ohhhhhh! I can't wait to see what happens here with the resort! I am still crossing my fingers for the the french quarter because that is where I really want you guys to stay. Don't ask me why. It's just this hunch I have that the two of you wouldit there.
May I also add that I can't believe these rates are out so early and that they involve a pin code. When I saw the post I was tempted to email my TA and see if she could get me a Saturday night room before my Sunday arrival in May. I asked DH if I could leave a day before everyone else, but he thought it was not such a great idea. So perhaps I should stay a day or two longer than everyone else?
Well just to be even more vague and not tip her hand too soon to our fellow readers LOLI have thought about quite intensely between doses of Excedrine Migraine LOL and I would love to fit it in and I think if we could find the answers to our questions we might have a place to fit it in!!
So I'm going to ask our fellow readers...at what time do you return from the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise for those of you who have been on it?????? The answer to this would be a great service to both Leslie and I LOL!!!
Well....we had contact earlier this morning but since we've decided we wanted to do...nothing. I'm trying to stay in my zen mode and not freak out.We are going to pay OOP for dining this time too. Whole new experience for me!!! Any news from your TA???
Oooo-I don't think anyone answered this...I can answer...
When we went in August...Wishes was scheduled for 10..and you had to check in for the cruise by 8:30...we were on board by 9 and most of the "pirate banter" takes place before Wishes...you see the Electric Lights while you're out there first, lots of banter and you can win "prizes" but after Wishes you get back pretty quickly we were back to the Contemporary dock and met our "special guest" by 10:30-but we were also sitting towards the front...
Hope this helps...Is there an ADR change now?
