Disney Gives Me the Warm Fuzzies. January 2010 PreTrip Report. Update 11/6 Pg. 79

I'm baaaaaaaaack. I just can't stay away from these PTRs!

If you have followed me over from my PTR for September 2009, you know that I have had to cancel that trip due to the fact that I'm having Gastric Banding Surgery on August 26th. Originally I was scheduled to have the surgery in October so the September trip was going to be a last hurrah. Well, things have changed and I just don't want to worry about traveling to Disney just four weeks after surgery. As a consolation prize to myself, my wonderful husband agreed to rescheduling this solo trip to January 2010. Yay!

The Dates:

January 14th - January 19th, 2010.

The Cast:

Leslie, 27, known as LL on these boards.

Lover of all things Disney, Light Fixture obsessed, well versed in blister products, park bag challenged and night time swimmer.

Jen, turning 27 on October 2nd, known as my long lost sister!

Lover of all things Disney, Haunted Mansion obsessed, keeper of the magic backpack a la Mary Poppins, Disney Chauffeur and Gnome Lover.

I am so thrilled that Jen is able to join me on this trip, thank goodness for her AP! Jen and I had a wonderful time together in May in Disney and I'm glad that we get to go on another trip together before she moves from Florida to Texas next summer.

Here are a few pictures from our May Trip.

Let me explain the Warm Fuzzies. Often when I'm completing a task I don't like or when I'm trying to sleep or getting poked and prodded by doctors I think about happy things to make myself calm down. If you can believe it I usually think of Disney in times like those. When I start thinking about Disney, be it plans for my upcoming trip, or trips in the past or even about Disney characters I get the warm fuzzy feeling of happiness all around me. I'll be coming up with my Disney Warm Fuzzies to share with you in a countdown form once we get going on this little ol' PTR.

Oh and I hope you don't mind if from time to time I happen to throw in plans for my November 2010 trip too!!

YAY!!!! We're going to Disney!! Yes thank goodness for that AP that will take me throughout our trip LOL!!! (Oh well if you are going to spend the money to have an AP you might as well make the most of it....RIGHT??? LOL) If it wasn't for that and a very understanding Prince P who might have mumbled something along the lines of I'm so getting another fishing trip out of this who knows where I would be LOL!!!!

I'm also glad for the time period when I only have to take 1 day off of work !!!!

Wow I really will have come full circle, my year of Disney Magic will end exactly where it began in January, of course along the way I was blessed to meet a great person like you and instead of going alone this time I will be sharing in the magic with an amazing friend!!!

Of course I hope you're prepared to be the only one night swimming...because Leslie if you think I'm getting anywhere near a pool in January in Florida you have another thing coming...if you recall from my last January trip...ummm I wore a hoodie the whole time and I might have even wore gloves!!!

I've really enjoyed reading all of your disney adventures. And found myself saddened by your cancellation in Sept. But I know it's for a good reason. Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery. How exciting to start this new chapter of your life!!

I had to laugh out loud at your swimming comment! Who knows if I will actually swim or not, I'm hoping that it will be chilly enough that I just wear a hoodie down there, I love my hoodies!

I should get her a wet suit! That is a great idea. I think I nearly froze her to death with the AC in our room in May. That is why I took the bed closest to the AC.
