Disney Gift Cards for Disney Infinity PC version?

So, my kiddos are getting laptops for Christmas, and they are into the iPad version of Disney Infinity, so we downloaded the PC version onto their laptops. I was wondering if you can use Disney Gift Cards to buy extra virtual characters for the PC game. Does anyone know? TIA!
