I have two Disney gift cards I want to use on my trip. I have saved them on an app on my phone where I can hit use this card and the number and a bar code come up. My question is can I pay from my app at Disney or can they only swipe the actual card? I emailed Disney gift card my question and they never got back to me. Does anyone know?

I don't think the app shows all the information needed to put the gift card in for a purchase. The app only shows the 12 numbers in the 16 number sequence and no security code. I beleive the app is just for you to watch and see how much is taken out after each use.

I'm using an app called Gift and it shows all the numbers and the pin. Even a bar code to scan.

Most gift cards are used at a point of sale terminal by scanning a magnetic bar code on the gift card. Does the gift card have a bar code on it, or just the magnetic strip?
